Added a quick logo. My take is quite literal, don't let it distract; be weird, weirdos!

Interestingly enough, it is Donald Trump. He came up in my photo search for 'Carnival Barker.'

Thanks all! If I hung around long enough sooner or later was gonna win one of these. Seeing some of the stuff coming in, I won't have a prayer in the 2014 class!

Re: Drabblecast 312 – Day Million

The 1970 publish date is apparent in some of the language used, but I must say I enjoyed this story. And I wouldn't call it retro-futuristic; much of the prognosticating in Day Million feels like a viable scientific future, even 44 years later. Also, CRNsurf, amazing covers. Check the two DARPs they...

Re: Nominations: Best Cover Art : 2013 People's Choice

::edit:: Removed the interview series covers, to de-clutter. Also my B&W Trilogy, Answer, Timmy, Tribe, and TGIF covers. Plenty of me to go around without all those B-sides. Also removed the B-Side version of Spencer Bingham's Doubleheader XII cover [it was a quick photo'chop I made, should not...

Re: Drabblecast 310 – The Ugly Chickens

Did anyone feel an almost lovecraftian flavor to this story? "As he rounded the corner, an entity emerged from the shed, an entity whose countenance was so frightful as to reduce him to a state of abject horror. He fell back at its approach, struggling to regain balance, not just in his trembl...

Re: Drabblecast 307 – Unbelief

The main character's name threw me. I thought we were dealing with some Neil Gaiman'esque conference of supernatural beings, that this was the immortal, biblical Cain. So far as I could tell, he was just a hitman with some baggage. http://www.nocturnica.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/yule-lads-g...

Pity, I like the angle of alligators trying to differentiate themselves via tool usage.
