It was an interesting story. Definitely "out there". Had to listen to it twice to really get a feel for it.

Kind of put off that the main character went so willingly to her death and would have liked more dialogue vice narrative, but still a decent listen.

Actually, considering she appears in both scenes, Cheryl is the "main character" of this story rather than Mr. Merrill. I went with the premise that if such creatures existed, they would have problems just like the rest of us, money problems and the like. Just imagine spouses reanimating their dead ...

I considered making Cheryl demonic, but in less than 2000 words, it confuses the issue by dragging in other elements and forcing the reader to further suspend their disbelief. In this case keeping it simple was a better option.

Thanks Chivalrybean. People seemed to like it so far, so that's good. I did consider not making her a vampire. I hope everyone enjoyed it. I'm excited to see how it is received by you folks on the forums. Don't worry, I can handle the slings and arrows if warranted. The guest narrator was very good and really brought "Cheryl" to life. Norm did his usual outstanding job.
