Re: Drabblecast 152- Trifecta XI
This episode kicked ass and Norm rocks. How's that for pithy hard-hitting commentary? It's all about content, Starks. The Existential Lizard was indeed great. Accomplished so much in so little space. Incredible. and finally, the return of 'Metroid (the lovers of Samus Aran), by Christopher Willits' ...

Re: "Best Story" Finals! Vote Here
For me, it was definitely Annabelle's Alphabet. The story was excellent in its creative structure, the unfolding of its meaning, and its imagery. That was great! Also, the production was excellent.

How About A Best Outro Award?
If we had a category for best outros, I would enthusiastically nominate the outro from Drabblecast 122 - The Fallen and the Muse of the Street.
I think that outro should be sold to the military as a covert assault weapon to completely incapacitate enemies (who possess senses of humor).

Music in the Drabblecast episodes
The music in the episodes is really masterfully done. It's pretty common to overlook this aspect of things. But, it seems, Norm, that you, and whoever else is involved in this aspect of things, have a very widespread and diverse familiarity with all kinds of music sources. This is a really wonderful...

Re: Drabblecast 146- Teddy Bears and Tea Parties
That was incredible (the main story). Putting aside, 'liked it' or 'didn't like it' or 'it made me happy/laugh', for a moment. That story was incredible just on the basis of sheer imagination and craftsmanship: how the images and the words that made up the images were assembled and strung together. ...

I was mentioned as donor of the week! It's a funny experience to feel self-conscious as you're walking through a supermarket with absolutely no one paying attention to you. That was extremely cool, Norm (and everyone). Thanks alot. And another great episode, although I have to admit Let us Now Prais...

Re: Drabblecast 139- Let Us Now Praise Awesome Dinosaurs
The dinosaurs are willingly exploited from the get-go, yet they are subject to all sorts of contradictory prejudices by mankind throughout. You could parallel this to several different ethnic/cultural groups if you wanted to get all fiction seminar on this one. The story opens with Tark not being a...

Hm.
Combine that with this

and you've pretty much got the picture.
I'm tired of walking around looking like this.
Something's gotta give.

Okay. What I want to say is that what you people are doing to those of us who listen to these things while out in public spaces is just wrong. I mean, I'm in the freaking library man! And I think my facial expression (restrained constipated-esque frozen smile with head turned right and about 75 degr...

Yeah, I thought that android story rocked. I swear I'm not positive about everything in life. I guess the editorial staff must be doing its job. I don't usually find much to complain about. I really liked that story. Particularly that sick music change that occurs when suddenly ugly reality starts l...

ROU Killing Time wrote: internalogic. Thanks for adding your perspective on the story, particularly your take on the ending, which is the part that I didn't initially process well. Re: Drabblecast 129- Annabelle's Alphabet by Tim Pratt
Another excellent job. Great job by Tim Pratt. Great narration by Norm. And once again, the music selection and production created the perfect mood. This story is a glimpse into a moment. For example, it would really lend itself to being captured by a painting. The key moment here is the image that ...
