B-sides

i finally have enough money to be able to commit to b-sides (because I quit drinking!) I'm not sure how it works though. Will I have to log in on my desktop to get access to the feed? Poking around here, it seems like there's an email which should go out eventually.

Where do you find your readers?

Hello all. I've been an on and off listener for years now. I've. Even reading books to campers (currently enders game) at the summer school camp I'm working at, and the kids keep telling me how good my voice is. So this leads me to my question, where do you find your voice talent? Is there a website...

Re: Drabblecast 140- Trifecta X

I enjoyed all the stories. The last one was particularly funny, zombies meeting corporate zombies.

I disagree. I think that Hurt was the perfect name for the first man.

Re: Drabblecast 167- Snowman's Chance in Hell by Robert Jeschone

I really enjoyed this story, on an intellectual level as well as on a fun story level. It had the themes of the titans from greek myth, and also brought me back to my childhood when I made snowmen myself. Called into question the whole idea of snowmen for me. I really liked the image that was on the...

I'm not sure if a Flight Crew works with the era that van Leeuwenhoek was working on. Pick a year and stick with it.

Giant Spider robot

I was listening to Drabblecast 151, when my heart leapt out of my chest. "A spider-bot? Someone Should make one of those."

I'm happy to inform you that someone has.

I gotta say, I really didn't like the main story. I couldn't deal with the main character, and when he snorted snot out of his nose I had to stop.

I don't know, I wish that there had been more of the story. It fell a little bit short for me for some reason.

Re: Women Writing About Aliens

Aw thanks you guys!

I was off looking for ancient gods. And I found them!

Men writing about things they don't understand sound really appealing to me. If Norm and "the gang" doesn't want to put it on the podcast, we could just do an impromptu one.

Women Writing About Aliens

So I've been trying to catch up on my drabblecast after a long hiatus. I've just gotten to the "Women writing about Aliens" month, and, as a Man, I feel left out. I feel like we men should have an unexpected subject month. Maybe make it a bit of a contest. I dunno.

Stories for a New Drabblecaster

My good friend is coming down to visit me from his college. I recently convinced him to listen to drabblecast, and am trying to compile a list of the "Craziest of drabblecast" for his eight hour ride. The goal is to make him think, and maybe freak him out a little. What I have so far The R...

I started listening to this story, and I couldn't deal with it. Sorry, Drabblecast isn't the place for this at all. EVER. I'm sure it was wonderfully funny and weird, but...

So i was Stumbling around the internet when I found this very neat site. You have 60 seconds to write about a word that they show you. I'm not going to tell you what it is for today, but suffice it to say it was inspiring. Also, after the 60 seconds are up you have however long you want to finish up...

Wow. I was going to wait until after I ate breakfast to respond to this podcast, but the Babylon Battle of the Bands forced me to respond. That was incredible, especially after writing a paper about the different civilizations that the Israelites encountered. This story fit very well into the paper ...

I like fantasy stories.

So when you guys put up something that combined the two of it, of course i'm going to be all over it.

I really liked the drabble. It was kind of cycular. Like you could continue reading it over and over. Here's a question. What the bleep happened in that story? I got the voodoo zombie part. But Why did she go absolutely insane? Why'd she become a Big Bad Evil Girl? I feel like someone is going to co...

I think what would phase me would be knowing

It'd be slightly more phasing than learning that i had an identical twin, more so because someone besides my mother and father had an input in my birth.

While I agree with you in general, I think that learning I was a clone would definitely mess with me a lot. Unless human cloning was prevalent, in which case it would make me a bit uncomfortable.

And in any case, most of the human cloning stuff nowadays is focused on stem cell research.
