Re: Drabblecast 146- Teddy Bears and Tea Parties

Is it just me or do the teddybears' voices remind you of the Sklorno?

For some reason this reminded me of an old Outer Limits episode where aliens needed to posses the recently dead in order to live. Don't ask me why.

This story made me happy. I don't know how to explain why Toast silliness followed by Toast holocaust is funny, but it kinda was.

This story was awesome. There isn't anyway to critique it. It is the base instinct people married to a genre of music feel towards people married to another genre. Showing that no matter what we do, we love to become opposing tribes.

I loved the twist there. The description of humans is a bit strange, even after knowing the twist, but I suppose the reader doesn't know what kind of aliens we've come into contact with. They probably have completely different ideas of what a being should look like, so the description actually does...

First Contact

First Contact by: Tristan Johnson The world gasped as the alien spacecraft opened, and the entire planet got its first glimpse at an alien species. It covered itself in slivers of protein, walked on two fleshy tendrils, and breathed a highly corrosive gas. He seemed to manipulate a machine with flag...

I really liked this one. Even as a strictly scientific person with no belief in the afterlife. I think it is interesting to imagine the infinite ways it might be.
