When I saw this story pulling out onto the highway of fun I said to myself "Wow! This story looks like it's going somewhere interesting!" so I hopped in and off we went. A couple miles later the story stopped in the middle of the road and told me to get out. Apparently it wasn't going anywhere at al...

Nirvana? What? Rather than thinking of Spinal Tap I kept thinking of a sci-fi/fantasy version of Nirvana. I mean, Gifting Bliss... Bliss is Nirvana... An angst filled early 90's guitar playing musician in a 3 man band creating a cult-like following. People treating the guy like he's a messiah and ca...

This story has just captured my "Favorite Story Evar!" crown. I've watched, read, and listened to a lot of sci-fi and I've always wondered what it must feel like to go completely bonkers on a long space voyage. Well, now I know. Allergies had me sneezing out a big wad of pitty for that poor character. No respite even in heaven. Half-Sneeze Johnny was fantabulous. The reading really brought the character to life and it felt like there was a lot of story crammed into that little chunk of time. It wasn't among the more odd and...

I dug both of 'em. While listening to Hush and Hark my mind kinda' drifted during the early moments of the story but once the ancient universe devouring monster showed up my ears decided to kick back into gear. Definitely a darker tone than I've heard on the cast in a while. Or at least that's what ...

I felt Forbidden Love was the weakest of the lot. I was never a big Pepe Le Pew fan and having to listen to a Pepe story line without the cutesie visuals had an effect similar to scraping a rubber coated cheese grater over my ear-drums. Not permanately damaging, but certainly not enjoyable. Cookies?...
