Re: Drabblecast 371 - Old Dead Futures

Tina Connoly really is one of the best spec fic authors going. Love love triple loved this one. That imagine of the kid with the dead owl in his hand at the end... and then she knew not to love me. Epic. Heartbreaking. Awesome.

Drabblecast back in form. Five stars.

I can't be the only one worried this is autobiographical.

Isn't all writing somewhat autobiographical.

P.S For maximum relief use cold milk.

Re: Drabblecast 362 - Starter House

It was the meaty slap of cricket bat against scrotum that did it for me. Kudos on the sound effects. I don;t even want to know what it actual was. This will stay with me for a long time I think.

What episode was this?

I'm trying to find a story, I think it may have part of a trifecta, but it was something about lizards, and he had shelves full of books he couldn't read.

Something, something tea and savagery.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Looking For Podcast Number?

So there was this one episode where this guys lived in a trailer, and he started hearing the voice of god. He would stand on top of trailer and shout about the end of times, because he didn't want to be normal. His wife had left him and it kind of sent him around the bend. It was part of a trifecta,...

Interesting, just a little hard to follow. So they got to haven and everyone thought they were Gods? Not sure why though. Still the concept is great.
