Also a good point. I think I'll have to give up on this one. I have no quibble with your quabbles though so keep them coming! :)

Occupied Lives

The waning sunlight danced through the trees. His heart leapt as he saw children outside the park running towards the lengthening shadow of the hovering invasion fleet. He relaxed when he saw the waiting ice cream van. He could just make out the faint sounds of the Centauri army marching down D'Olie...

Re: Sheep ire.

In eerily silence he crept through the dark. A sheep reared up, fangs gleaming. "It's happening," he thought at the end. You can turn a verb into a noun by gerundification. But I don't believe allowance has yet been made for adverbs to be adjectified, unless you have a valid poetic licens...

Re: Post your Twitfic Twabbles Here! (General Content)

Every morning the birds wrestled on the eaves, chirping and flapping in their frenzy. On a fence, the cat watched. Soon.

(in reality, I'm the cat. And I'm in my bed. And I'm not watching, I'm being woken up. WTF are they doing up there????)

Slowly. Quietly. I creep down the tube. I sense the open air. My eight legs leave the vacuum cleaner; I run. Now. Revenge.

(this is tonight's nightmare)

Cthulu pies...

Last night's cthulu pie attempt. It's actually harder than I thought it would be. Clearly something to practice. http://i.imgur.com/wcnx8aCl.jpg Anyway, inspired by the Boing Boing article and the Drabblecast's HP Lovecraft month! Edit: Changed to much smaller picture (from gigantic insane size).

Bow to the Old Ones. The bowing won't please them per se, it merely makes you easier to consume. That's what is important.

Buffalo! Buffalo {times many chips}... ( How did I not think of this one before? ) Uh, the Grace of God? :? If by grace you mean "deprived of his noodly appendage" and by god you mean "FSM," yes, probably. But thankfully last night I was touched by his noodly appendage and the t...

Re: Drabblecast 286 – Unique Chicken Goes in Reverse

I liked it, but it felt very incomplete to me. I don't understand what happened to the priest. He went through... some sort of spiritual transformation... where... well, I dunno. It sounds like Varda, tho, had the context in which to understand this story. Varda, would you do us all a big favor and...

Re: Please increase the PM mailbox quotas

Having a 50-message limit is too restricting. 100 doesn't seem much better. For admins/moderators an email gateway to PMs would seem really obvious but there's nothing. I found a few email/forum gateway but that was for mailing lists and forums which is not the same thing. Looking at the PM interfa...

Re: Tapatalk support

I do want to highlight one thing: This is the thread where they enabled it. However I note they use SMF instead of phpBB. So it wasn't really a fair comparison for me to make. The EA forums are using this plugin which is not the same one this board would need . It appears to be the same developer an...

Re: Tapatalk support

I know that Tapatalk had some major security vulnerabilities (SQL injection and XSS). That was a couple years ago, maybe they're fixed by now? Apparently. And in that same timeframe both phpBB and php have also had security issues. Not trying to be argumentative, but this is phpBB and php we're tal...
