Three Easy Steps to Making a Viral Hologram on Turtles
In preparation for the day when turtle holograms overtake cat videos as the world’s favorite Internet addiction, we offer this guide to making a viral hologram on turtles. 1: Obtain two turtles. You'd be surprised at how many people use tortoises or terrapins. While this sloppiness may have gone unn...

Get Over It.
Hold a grudge? Me? Nah. I've never had any trouble getting over things. Just turn the other cheek and keep on truckin', I say. Some might consider me a wuss. My wife certainly did. But life just never seemed worth losing any sleep over, you know? But then she went and had sex with her boss. And I go...

Ask and You Shall Receive
In the beginning, there was Me. And I was good. But I grew lonely. So I made her. And we were good. But she grew bored. “I need space,” she said. So I created the Heavens. “I need time,” she said. So I set the stars in motion. But it still wasn’t enough. “I need more,” she cried. So I created the gr...

Re: Life and Limb.
thanks everyone. the idea came to me because of a medical problem i'm having with a finger on my left hand. long story short, thought it was arthritis (which i've had for years), but it turns out i have a deep bone infection from a small cut. if the meds don't clear it up, i'll have to have surgery ...

It's been two days since the bear took my hand. I rolled over and played dead like you're supposed to. Can’t believe it worked, what with all the blood and everything, but it did. The bear ambled off, and I got to work. Used my belt for a tourniquet, then cauterized the wound in the embers of the ca...

Re: The End of the End (The Outcast theme)
pathos, humor, zombies... what's not to love?
Nothing.
The last thing he expected when he opened the door was nothing. And yet, that’s exactly what he saw. Nothing. Not “nothing” in the sense of “Move along, please, nothing to see here”, but rather “nothing” in the sense of absolutely nothing to see, period. Here, there, or anywhere else, from the looks...

Re: Stay Warm this Christmas. (Holiday Stories Theme)
Thanks. My wife works for the EPA, so fracking is a constant conversation at our house. The first line came to me when I was walking the dogs. 30 minutes after sitting down to type, it was done. Definitely the fastest one of these I've ever written.

Re: This Topper Is Offensive On Several Levels (Holiday Stor
When I was younger, I didn't mind Christmas. But after six years of working retail (during and after college), I grew to dislike it with the tepidness of a warm bowl of spit.
Nice drabble, btw.

Stay Warm this Christmas. (Holiday Stories Theme)
His “Naughty” list was growing longer every year. His Santaticians calculated in 20 years there’d be no point in even keeping a list, let alone checking it twice. He was okay with that. Since the economy had switched from mining to fracking, he’d been stockpiling as much coal as he could. Today, he ...
