Re: Welcome back but...
Hmm. I'm with hnk on this one. Only norm et al know who subscribed post-fade and for how long. Are we talking 10,000 people for 12 months or just a handful of us for six months? If the donations have been used to relaunch (and especially if there's some sort of compensation in terms of access to pre...

Re: Drabblecast Director’s cut
Oh, hey there. I've been wondering when someone else would come back to the forum! I was also really delighted to hear the 'making of' (finally).

Re: Sooooo...is the Drabblecast dead..?
I've been quietly expecting/hoping for a return of the drabblecast since it started fizzing out. I think we all admire Norm's new endeavours and so there really isn't any hard feelings. Still, it would've been nice to know that my donation was no longer really doing anything, at least once it became...

Poisonous lambs
A fetid stream of chunks and fluid fled his mouth, splattering onto the corrupt porcelain shore of the public toilet. Shutting his eyes against the horror, he depressed the flushing device and, for a brief moment, was soothed by the cool breeze from the gushing water. He then collapsed to his side a...

Re: Bsides 46 – The Hodag
Great story.
It somehow adds to the suspense when told from the childs perspective.

Re: Bsides 39 – Becca at the End of the World
At first this seemed like just another rendition of the more laboured aspects of the zombie apocalypse genre. I quite liked the ending, mostly because I didn't see it coming.

Re: Drabblecast 324 – The Ball Room
I made the mistake of listening to this story, in the dark, with my three year old daughter asleep beside me. Afterward, I had to go back and listen to an older, happier episode of the drabblecast to cheer myself up. For some reason the music during the scary bits really got me this time. Nice work ...

Re: The Little Dagonite
Thanks. I've been wanting to write a Lovecraft-themed Drabble for years.
Now that I think about it, i'm not surprised my inspiration came from the Little Mermaid.

The Little Dagonite
I performed each rite from the mouldering tome to perfection. But when I finally kneeled in supplication before Dagon, an immense, tentacled crab amidst a horde of deformed, piscatorial monstrosities on the floor of the deepest, darkest ocean, I changed my mind. “Please,” I sobbed, “let me return to...
