Re: Still alive?
I'm not sure anybody knows what happened, which I guess is the way of things. If I was guessing, I'd say that life got in the way. Norm tweeted out back in July about staying tuned, but I think life might have gotten in the way again. At this point, I just poke around here from time to time and keep...

Re: Sooooo...is the Drabblecast dead..?
I...I don't suppose any of you weirdos have heard anything? I've been listening to some of the best episodes and the lack of DC is palpable. Feels like losing a friend.

Re: Drabblecast 227 – The Star
Gravy Monkey, baby: We all may have to find new maddening and incomprehensible Elder Gods to worship, as it seems that the Drabblecast isn't gonna be waking from its ancient dreams any time soon. No word on anything officially, but Norm recently pulled away from his work on EscapePod. With that in m...

The song is Norm's own, called "Rutabaga".

Re: No Halloween episode again?
Duuuude, I know, right? If there's real life stuff going on, then I doubt any of us would be less than understanding. If it's business stuff, we'd most likely be willing to pitch in. And if the passion is gone and you need to end it, let us know. The not knowing is kinda frustrating for the fans.

Or really anything, at this point. If things are in a nosedive, I can't be the only one willing to pitch in however I can.

Re: Still alive?
Lol, I'm so glad to hear that. I was seriously worried that the Drabblecast was over and we'd all be left in a colder and emptier world devoid of Drabble-y goodness.

Re: Still alive?
They did have a pretty huge gap in 2015 with no real explanation, maybe that's what's up again? Just a tweet or something would be nice. I hope Norm and the gang are all okay. :/

Re: Still alive?
Man, I've been wondering the same thing. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one wondering. Nothing on the twitter feed about it, nothing on the forums. Is the party over? 'Cause I missed the memo. I've been wondering if they wouldn't be better off knocking it back to a monthly podcast instead of weekl...

Re: Drabblecast 381 – Unathi Battles The Black Hairballs
I thought that the story wasn't bad. I would say that it still had that Drabblecast feel to it, it was just the audio quality that really hurt it.

I'm really happy to see To Whatever win. It was my first episode, and it's still probably my favourite.

Re: Drabblecast 358 - DoubleHeader: Rachael K. Jones
I thought that Mamihlapinatapei was fantastic in a tragic way. I loved the melancholy vibe that the story had, and I especially liked Norm's little afterward at the end of the episode.
