Re: Edgar Allan Poe Meets Ken Scholes Kickstarter
Thanks. That's good knowledge if I run another fundraising project some time down the line. I've reached my Kickstarter goal for the Ken Scholes Poe Story, but the project is still active for another 10 hours or so. if anybody was interested in the rewards, I will match the rewards for any donations...

Edgar Allan Poe Meets Ken Scholes Kickstarter
Sorry to post a sales pitch, but I am running a kickstarter to commission an Edgar Allan Poe-esque story from Ken Scholes for the Journey Into... podcast. I run an Edgar Allan Poe month similar to Norm's Lovecraft month here on the Drabblecast. There's 3 days left and less that $49 to go. Anyway, he...

Re: Drabblecast 340 - On a Clear Day You Can See All the Way
Everything about this was beautiful and majestic! From Dave Robison as Mike, to all of the voice mail lines, to the radio tuning during the breaks (something I'm fond of), to well everything. Let's just say you had me at "It's the Sinclairs!" Awesome call back! Does anybody else remember that one. I...

Re: The Dribblecast Call to Action!
I think it is time to start doing more with Drbblecast again. I was so into it in the beginning and then I went off and started my own podcast. But I think I could probably get back in there and record a few drabbles.

Excellent, swamp. But advice from friends: could you please make that your old girlfriend? Otherwise, you cast a very unpleasant aspersion on yourself. Good point. I was framing it has I just found this out and was telling a friend, but yes, I will change it so that you guys won't look at me ...

It has been a while, but here goes:
My old girlfriend said she slept like a baby. I didn't realize she meant she woke up every two hours lying in her own feces.

That's a pretty good idea.tbaker2500 wrote: There should be two versions of this story- One for those jaded by love stories, where she kills him, and this one for romantics.

Re: Drabblecast 272 – Power Armor: A Love Story
Another thing to take into consideration is that DBK wrote this story specifically for an anthology titled ARMORED, of which at least 80% would consist of military SF. Making a love story out of it was pretty original and was pulled off nicely IMO.

Re: Drabblecast 273 - The Electric Ant
I don't know who Matthew and/or Norm had to kill, pleasure, bribe or who knows what to bring this story to us, but I definately appreciate it. I thought I was going to run a surreal story on my podcast this week, but once again Norm proves that he is the God of Podcasting! Now's the time to donate f...

Re: Drabblecast 272 – Power Armor: A Love Story
I really enjoyed this story! Although, I shouldn't be surprized. I haven't read a David Barr Kirtley that I didn't like. Certainly, I like some more than others, but I like his brand of storytelling in general. This story was surprizingly moving. I came in expecting a good story, but something more ...

Re: The new "Journey Into..." podcast
It's been a while since I posted a shameless plug here, but I figured the Drabblecast crew would like to get as much of Norm as they could. The latest Journey Into... features Norm Sherman as the voice of reason in a strange western dystopia in "When The Black Bird CIrcles Back" by Greg van Eekhout ...
