Re: Drabble Reviews Blog

Speaking of behemoths and Dan Simmons, at roughly 1800 pages combined between the two novels, Illium and Olympos are thoroughly enjoyable romps through quantum/ hard science fiction with a nice dose of a Lovecraftian menace stirred into the mix. I give it a 9.99 out of 10, only losing points for ha...

Re: Drabblecast 162- Birdwatcher by Garth Upshaw

Between the ep. art and the eerie foreboding music I had assumed the story would be a horror romp and after hearing "i was poisoning crows the day the aliens arrived.." i mimed a 'Yes!' motion and decided that this would be exactly what I needed to cheer me up at work... Though some how this one sor...

Thanks alot all.. The video was done by Stephen Vitale, who we met though bentley college in Ma.... This is his first music vid as well so its a learning experience for all... He gets something to add to his portfolio and we get a sweet video... This feels a lot like when we put out our first album....

Loved this one.... The ability of a brit to not only keep their cool, but to be cheerful during a chaotic situation always makes me smile.. The narration by Chambers was simply amazing.

Thanks, in retrospect I realize that during party scenes there should have been a lot more movement. Its funny, what ever you think is overdoing it will probably seem tame when put through a camera..

Re: Drabble Reviews Blog

The follow-up duet "Endymion" and "The Rise of Endymion" is also worth a read (though I do think the original set is a bit stronger.) thanks for the suggestion... I rarely feel very confident about reading follow up stories after the main one is over.. Sometimes these extra books within an authors ...

Great job on the drabble news as well.. Have yet to hear norm try his hand at musical tunes and I think he did a rather good job. His rather extensive repertoire of Bbardles is available on the episode archives that Saint Tom manages. Linked off the Drabblecast front page. Not to be missed. oh I'm ...

Very much liked the main story, although the entire time I couldn't help but picture Dr. Evil's secret hidout from Austin Powers...
