Episode Hunt: Vampires save humans during zombie apocalypse

Hi all, I want to recommend an episode to a coworker but I'm not even sure if it was a DC episode. "It has been too long," I whispered to the blade. Its answer came in the gentle hiss of steel on silk.
"I am ready, my love."

Changing my username

I've taken to using a different handle elsewhere and I'd like to bring this account in line with the others if I can. Is there a mechanism for changing my username?

Re: Post your Twitfic Twabbles Here! (General Content)

You're probably right. I'm really out of practice with writing anything (this is actually my first DC forum visit in months because Life). Same! Seems a little slow here nowadays. But then again I've been less active in the spec fic community myself. I'm just catching up on a 6-18 month backlog of ...

D's Little Girl

She paused at the door.
'See you in six months, Mom.'
As she faded away, walking south, the chill northern wind picked up.

D's Little Girl

She paused at the door.
'See you in six months, Mom.'
As the taxi sped east, the first snow cloud darkened the western sky.
*edited: see below - tried to make the trip more temporally and geographically appropriate.

I submit that the mega food corps *are* R'lyeh, with their eldritch R&D labs and non-Euclidean legal departments.

Also: great drabble, Taco.

Re: Magneto Checks Out (Superhero Stressers)

I'm wondering... if Magneto had sufficient fine control and pattern knowledge, couldn't he make a credit card out of items at hand?

"Maxed out? "
*picks up stapler, smashes flat*
"Here, try this one."

Re: Magneto Checks Out (Superhero Stressers)

I totally buy it (har). Cashiers aren't paid to be decision makers and often get in trouble for trying. One example of many: a certain Dairy Queen employee required managerial input to determine if she could, in fact, make a Cheesequake Blizzard with blueberries in place of the officially sanctioned...

More Happy Thoughts, Dammit!

Her dreams of late were becoming too real. It seemed as though every bad thing she saw at night she'd see again on the news in the following days. She had to be getting depressed again. She shook herself and put on the "play want we want" station as she pulled into the freeway. She'd talk to Doctor ...

It's a hard thing to lose a best friend.
Through my tears, I see a fuzzy form in my mommy's hand.
My teddy has come back to me.

I have loved him for years, and now I have him.
Sometimes two arms aren't enough.
Sometimes you must bind the legs as well.

Thanks. I'm glad it came off, since the initial writing was almost 200 words and I had trouble cutting it down. Guess my Drabbler needs a tune up.

Take my hand, my love
And be led through the quiet forest
To a blanket in a clearing
We will lie there together
And watch the sky together
And embrace as the invasion of Earth begins.
