There is a reason humans have limitations, and God would not allow us to tamper with these limitations to this degree (The key idea here is cognitive power, don't bother arguing the physical and I am well aware of the arguements). I'm not sure if there are cognitive limitations? Look at how far hum...

HEY! that pic is of Spaceshipone. I was there when it took off. I even have the T-shirt. I thought Norm did a great reading. The story was fine. I felt the story was a little predictable and preachy but enjoyable. Had it been only something I read, I may not have read it all the way but because some...

Yeah, I had to trim my podcast list as they were just piling up in Itunes and I couldn't keep up. My faves are Escape Pod, Drabblecast, Skeptic's Guide to the Universe, Skeptoid, NASA cast, Sound Opinions, Musicheads. I definitely listen to podcasts more than watch TV as I listen in the car and whi...

She's a person. But she isn't free: She's got to serve Lance, whether she wants to or not. She's a slave. Suppose you knew that your life had a Purpose, that you had been created to do a single thing to the best of your ability. Would you consider it slavery to fulfill that purpose? :D Well, that's...

And what's the deal with the poll? Only one person thinks intelligent machines would be excellent? Just think what an improvement in telephone answering menues it would mean. "I'm sorry, Lance is not taking your calls today. If you'd like to apologize, press 4 now." I was curious what people though...

This one really showed off Norm's talent.
