Re: He Had A Farm

He had to go through a lot of messy trial and error. Also, using 'knew' gives undertones that the guy is a bigot, like everyone a...

Trapped in a cupboard with another soul. Lips locking. Teeth gnashing. Seven minutes of Heaven. Feels more like Limbo.

For My Next Trick

Everything was supposed to be fun, pretty and perfect for Sarah’s 8th Birthday party. There was a princess cake, a bouncy castle, a DJ, pony rides, cool presents for the guests, as well for the birthday girl. Heck, her rich parents loved her so much; they even got her a magician. They should’ve stuc...

Many simply quit, or grew only veggies and such. And then there was MacDonald. They say he had a farm, once upon...

Tongue Twister

In between studying advanced mathematics and language studies, Alexa had found a strange phrase tagged in the back of one of her library books in faint pencil. The first time she read it, her brain froze and screamed. Half of her thought the letters were Russian smashed with Japanese. Yet somehow, a...

The devil I knew had finally had enough of me. He threw a yellowed paper advert across my cell. It read: "Looking to move on from your personal hell or heaven? Fed up of haunting your ex-lover? Why not try applying for Life? Just dial your soul backwards, and we'll get in touch with you, then transf...

Pre-dawn had arrived and with it a tired, grumpy pixie-sized woman riding on the back of a grey squirrel carrying a heavy satchel through the woods. Faeries used to eat children half a millenia ago. They were fantastically delicious, especially when ground into baked bread. They gave that certain swee...

The last drabble was January 2017, and haven't seen anything since. Is it lack of funds or interest, or is Norm working on other podcasts / roaming the country and going wild with his music? Really hope they update with some kind of news, otherwise we'll have to make a truly mythical eulogy.

Grammatically Correct

You look like a smart, capable person, let me ask you something. When you were small, and people asked you what or who you wanted to be, how did you answer exactly? Speak truthfully. Every single wish I've ever granted has always been said in past tense. The client starts with "I wish I was..." whic...

You've fallen on the heavy cringe side of puns there, Munsi. I was half expecting you to throw in the'"getting up in the dead of night' joke That he needs to go 'raise hell' and help 'raise the zombies from their slumber' via the magic of coffee. Oh dear. See, this is me getting carried away w...

A vast waste of white space enveloped 2B's vision. He rambles across Paper, unsure where to go, until a thud and scrape could be heard in the distance. The sounds draw grow closer and closer. In a panic he trips over rubbery bones, and is met by the monstrous Unholy Ruler that bars his way from free...

Shannon surfed the net's online dating websites when she suddenly came across a real Casanova. His profile picture looked amazing. He was on a beach somewhere reclining on his side gazing sexily at the camera. His torso rippled with chiselled abs, his skin glowed golden under the sun's rays and shar...
