and MORE eyes

I have always felt like someone is watching me; so I bought this canister of pepper spray for next time I get that feeling.

<not still intentionally on the Beholder kick, but it did get me to thinking about eyes...>

Eyes

I was in a beholder kinda mood . http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/5088/7871bc5b6a6638a24e091fa.th.jpg I think we've all heard the old saying that "beauty is in the eye of the Beholder", but what the hell is that in its mouth?!? -or- Beauty may be in the eye of the Beholder, but its my foot that w...

Re: You are the Contoller

As I was reading, I kept thinking "oh, how clever". I thought this was just going to be a morality play on unplugging and the sad state of the modern video game junkie. It wasn't until the last line, which I completely failed to see coming, that my "oh, how clever" turned into an "oh you cheeky bast...

“You'se guys ain't got no class” the mobster sneered at us; but his velour track suit told me he was no fashion authority.

BBQ for me and YOU

Eating human was easy. A little tough, but we don't taste all that bad. The hard part, I think, was finding a decent sauce.

Re: Loss For Words

Thanks, I plan to. Just had a baby on the 8th, so we've been busy the last week or two. Now that life is "normalizing" (?!?)I'm looking forward to getting back to some writing.

Speaking of marriage...

No matter which states I move to, I can't seem to find a minister who will marry me and my heifer. Animal husbandry indeed!

Re: Loss For Words

Awesome. You had me at pulsating brain. I think "Real soon, kid." is a better line to end on, though. I totally agree. I actually went back and forth on that a couple of times, juxtaposing those last 2 lines. As soon as I posted the story I wished I had kept it the other way. Heh heh, oh well, hind...

Loss For Words

“Ah, thanks” I mumbled awkwardly, eyes glued to the pulsating brain he’d dropped in my shaking hands. “Don’t mention it, kid” Dominic said lightly, kicking the corpse’s head away from us. He sighed, and his tone darkened. “Think you can do it? It’ll be my turn soon”. I wrenched my gaze from the brai...

Don't worry about that, Stalin. My guess is that the major alcohol distributors and "Big Tobacco" will bribe... erm, I mean contribute to...these scientists coming up with lung and liver FLASH RAM modules next.

Re: Drabblecast 206 - Creature

I just got around to listening to this today. I LOVED it. I was transported to the wastelands, it felt like I was one of the semaphore crows looking down and watching the tale unfold. And of course Norm's narration and choice of background ambiance made it all the better. This is going to be in my t...

Re: Post your Twitfic Twabbles Here! (General Content)

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! This is my very first Twabble submission - enjoy! I asked him to give his heart to me completely. Later that night a bloodied box appeared at my doorstep. It was still warm. -1 point for being too late for Valentine's Day, otherwise, that's a win. Perhaps our new friend i...
