Hey Desmond, thanks for dropping by! It's always awesome when an author posts and yours is full of interesting stuff.

Desmond, you're the man. You managed to write a Lovecraft-inspired story without being soaked in Lovecraftian lore. My hat is off to you, sir. Well done indeed.

Re: Drabblecast 333 - After the Cure
I don't like Zombie Stories. Is that bad of me? Nope. They're overdone. Don't like 'em much myself. Fortunately, this wasn't a Zombie Story. It was an EX-Zombie Story. :) Exact-ic-ally, and that's why this was awesome. Kind long, but great. Don't believe I've heard anything quite like it. Although ...

Dammit @bryanwitha_y, you beat me to the punch! Occasionally Norm does a longer intro like this one and they crack me up! I haven't even listened to the story yet but the whole thing is worth it just for the intro. Piñata / candy / teeth / UPS invoice from older self / etc. Magic! I still think abou...

What was the song at the end of the ep? I tried Googling the lyrics but... nothing.
"Life is such a waste of time unless you learn what to take from it"

The Drabblecast, he said. Strange stories, ya-da-ya-da-ya-da. I'm not THAT strange. I'll just remove my skin gloves.

Just WOW! I never heard of this guy before and I think I need to go hunt up his tales. Honestly, this one started out pretty average but when we got to the meat of it... WOW.

Re: Drabblecast 283 – The Man Who Drew Cats
I will just say: frakin' awesome. (oh, and some more words) I loved this story's slow build to a BIG conclusion that was witnessed by some folks ten years ago. As Norm said, it was about relationships and what needs to happen (maybe) to make them work. Reminded me a lot of "Sling Blade" with Billy B...

Folks, I would just like to say, thanks for producing one of my all-time-ever favourite Jack Vance stories. Honestly kids, go read all of the "Dying Earth" stories because noone ever wrote like Jack Vance. :) Now, Drabblecast. If you could just read the whole of "The Eyes of the Overworld" (aka Cuge...

Re: Drabblecast 262 – My True Lovecraft Gave To Me
As great as the main story was ( and it WAS great) I was crying with laughter over the lead-in. "There's a time and a place for raisins folks, and it's never and in the ----ing trash." "You're giving ghost handjobs every day -- that you don't even know about!" "Turtle lingerie" Honestly, best Hallow...

God-DAMN that was a great story (that's Brown Dust I'm referring to). It led expertly from little kid with big gift using for small gain, to wow, evil bastard, to geez didn't quite see that coming, to can't see the resolution for this, to wow... what a way to end!! That ending was real sad but so ho...

Re: Drabblecast 263 – Betty Flesh And The Meat Man
I loved this one. It was unexpectedly lyrical, poetic and engrossing. At first I really had no idea what was going on but it was sufficiently interesting to continue with. I then went from "oh, a match made in Heaven" to "oh. as little as that and dreams die (sob)."
Awesome.
Awesome.

Re: Drabblecast 263 – Betty Flesh And The Meat Man
I read this one in slush and passed it up. Sorry to be a foreign pest (as in, not speaking your brand of "English"), but "passed it up" in this context means: (a) passed it up the chain of command and recommended it be purchased OR (b) passed it up, as in, passed on this one, as in, voted NO on thi...

Enjoyed this story very much, it has a bittersweet, end-of-an-era quality. The dog dying... well, I'm quite a dog person and that always gets to me.
