Re: Announcing Season M-B D-M Season 4!
Also, Bo in person looks shockingly human. Friendly, even. The tentacles sort of tuck up inside his clothes, so you hardly notice. He doesn't like looking people in the eyes, but that's only because he doesn't want to steal your soul. It's a kindness, really.

patients bursting into flames
OK, this is inter-department email from another anesthetist in the group where I work. It made me laugh out loud and seemed Drabblecast form-worth. There's absolutely nothing that needs to be secret here, so no harm in posting. I did blank a location just to make sure it's totally anonymous. _______...

The cake was indeed awesome, Seldon. Contrary to rumor, it was not a lie.

Well, the one that comes instantly to mind is duckasouraus. He is a -duck-. So naturally he tries to rape anything in his path with an exploding 40 foot penis.
Oh, wait, you said nothing pornographic. Give me a minute; I'll think of something less realistic.

Apart from the hilarious premise, this has just the right amount of bad grammar and backasswards writing. Thanks for the giggles.

That is just awesome. I thought resurrection men vanished with the 1800's. I wonder what the TSA thought when they xrayed that bag.

Dead. Duck. Day.
I read about this duck five or six years ago, but I had no idea he had received his own holiday and continuing reenactment. Possibly the best drabble news segment ever.

It's extra work having chapters and the additional MP3 feed but I feel like we're in the same boat as Tony to some degree, and I don't want anyone to miss out on a good story by Krystine Rusch just because I insist on rapping about fastfood diarrhea beforehand. :) Several of the short fiction podca...

That was AWESOME. I'm with Moonowl - if that was an unedited sight-read, then everyone involved is some kind of super genius. The only error I heard was that the music over-powered the vocals during the intro. The the story itself was horribly wonderful.

Re: Drabblecast 166- Jubilee by Tim Pratt
Like everyone else, I LOVED the drabble. I liked the story itself a lot, too. The grief in it felt very real. The punchline was nothing particularly unusual, but the horror of the protagonist's loss was unusually stark and vivid. I would not have been surprised to hear it on Psueudopod.
