Funny! I suggest either a period or a semi-colon there in the middle, though. Needs a longer breath/break.

Re: Drabblecast 239 – Killing The Morrow

Thanks so much for picking me again for the Twabble contest! Also, this week's story was fantastic. I really enjoyed something "out there" that legitimately kept me both informed (this is happening now as I do this) and completely in the dark (what the heck happened to the world??). Definitely gonna...

Hard on the Feet

The timeworn android trudged painfully across rough wasteland. Pausing, he remembered softness in the age of carpet.

Okay, that was a good one.
Lookout, I hear the Union is forming a lynch mob.
Thanks!

The Union? Man, I am missing references in here left and right!

Thought Police

This one's a silly little take on the "big brother" theme for this month among the Drabbles.

"Heard you got pulled over by the thought police the other night."
"Yeah I was thinking a mile a minute - in a school zone!"

I can tell that there is supposed to be a false lead here, but I'm not totally sure what it is.

Also, it should be ["Thinner." Sighing....]

Yes, for some reason I've always found brevity to be easier than length :P

Probably No Cake

As it turned out, everybody was wrong. The bloody Mayans were wrong. Those Christian folks, too, no matter how many times they conveniently refiggered the date. Even the scientists who kept track of the space rocks were wrong. At least they were gettin’ paid. Thinkin’ back, if you considered all the...

Re: Post your Twitfic Twabbles Here! (General Content)

Yea, "need to" was a little strong. I think this is a case of slight ambiguity creating significantly different perspectives. I liked the original and didn't understand the proposed modification. How about "messenger" instead of "telegrapher"? Just a thought. Hmmm, yes maybe that would work better....

Re: Post your Twitfic Twabbles Here! (General Content)

It seems unlikely that the telegrapher would attack while completing the message. You need a change of tone ending with "can't wait to see you." Ok, so first thing...I NEED to? Feel free to write your own story. This is even public domain, so feel free to copy and modify mine! Second, I feel like y...

Re: Drabblecast 234 – Jagannath

I really enjoyed "Jagannath." The point of view was really fantastic and the incidental tour of The Mother kept me wrapt until the very end. I wasn't SUPER sure what the ending meant, but overall I think the "middle" was what I enjoyed the most. Oh and thanks for picking me this week on the twabble :)
