Re: Fill my ears

I kinda dug the kid hosts at clonepod, I hope they don't give that up. It was a unique angle. If anything I thought they should focus on less mature/R rated material-- there's plenty of that out there already. This is an excerpt from their email to me: "We are currently starting out again. The chil...

And that's a statement, not a fact.

Re: Podcasts I like or don't like

FYI, Podcastle just played a blinder with episode 93 "The Mermaid’s Tea Party" by Samantha Henderson. The best Podcastle that I can recall in quite a while. Great monsters. http://podcastle.org/2010/03/02/podcastle-93-giant-episode-the-mermaids-tea-party/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fal...

The Nine Billion Names of God.

It's a short one. You can read it easily in one sitting. But it does pack a wallop.

Just talked to the Clonepod people. They'll be back up in less than a month, with a more mature audience in mind.

Since the Emancipation

"Spare change?" he asked, shaking his gritty soup can at me. "Change for a wish?" That stopped me. Since the emancipation, most of the djins had lost all their wishes, spending their powers in the hastily built Wish Towns, squandering all they had. This djin's hands were mottled gray on blue, and hi...

Re: Queen Sized Bed

“Don’t buy a single bed,” he said to me, there in the Ikea. “A single bed is an admission that you don’t intend to have sex. It says you’ve given up, that you’ll never meet anyone, or connect, ever again, and that you don’t intend to try. Even if you’re alone right now, buy the queen sized bed. It’...

Well, we're altering the formula this year, not gonna be my brain babies, it'll be the author community's collective brain babies. So if you want said squid as an entrant write a story or drabble about em and get it published on the show. Accomplish that and you cement a worthy competitor for the f...

I've raised literally thousands of caterpillars in my life, but none like those. Some of those are dangerous or incredibly foul smelling. Or turn into ugly moths.

I still prefer my elegant monarch cats.
