Re: Drabblecast 164- The Observer by Kristine Kathryn Rusch

I absolutely adored both the McDonalds rap and the underlying music is Ms. Rusch's story. While I like Danny Elfman as much as the next guy (okay, waaaaaaay more than the next guy), the background music was ominous, sad, mysterious, and upsetting, and was masterfully done. I've also gotta echo the o...

Re: Drabblecast 158- Dr. Diablo Goes Through the Motions

This was an excellent story and all-around great episode. The "Little Shop of Horrors" stuff was so awesome that parts of me that I'd long considered dead reawakened and danced a jig. Kudos all around, sirs.

Re: Fan Cast (Dribblecast Decision Making)

Wow, I wish I had known about the Dribblecast months ago. I just heard about it from Liz Mountaindewski, but I long to be a part of it. Even if it's just narrating others' stories. I'll try and read all the previous posts so I'm caught up before I ask my stupid questions. That's what a true dribblec...

Re: Drabblecast 145- Varmits! by Steve Lowe

This episode really highlights the power of music. It could have been (should have been?) a light, funny little story, but with the driving and bombastic underscore, it became something overwhelming, even epic.

It's weird how music can do that.

Re: Drabblecast 144 - joanierules.bloggermax.com

I found this story to be surprisingly insightful and obliquely brilliant. I'm still thinking about it all this time later, which is unusual for such a short piece (especially one that seems so shallow in the beginning). A fantastic reading too, with a great, natural-sounding voice. This was one of m...

The dude who voiced the announcer was AWESOME, yo! I want him up front on game shows and late night talk shows, tellin' the people what is what. You hear, my brothas?

Re: Drabblecast 130- Trifecta IX

"Curse of the Android's Wife" kind of horrified me. What a sad and sickening future that depicts. Then I thought about seeing John and Kate Gosselin on the cover of every magazine for the last three months, and I realized that a sad and sickening future has already arrived.

Re: Drabblecast 129- Annabelle's Alphabet by Tim Pratt

This was probably my favorite episode this year. Or this week, anyway. It was sad, lovely, and somehow unsettling. I honestly don't know how a writer pulls off all three at once. Great production as usual. I think from now on, I'll just mention if Norm's music and reading are NOT awesome (it could s...

You know what, I think it IS because of you that God doesn't love me.

Other than that, nice editing on the show, with really cool music. Thanks!
