Re: S.C.A.T.

Now I know why I check this place out first thing in the morning...this is exactly the kind of image needed to kickstart my day!

Genius ending, it gave me great imagery! Poor Cindy...but at least she still has her best feature.

Re: [No Tresspassing/ Lovecraft Theme] Chosen

I find it interesting someone bothered to erect a clearly ineffectual fence around it...my guess is he wasn't the first one to get there, and the first one didn't want to hang around long enough to build an effective barrier...

Re: Acrostic Twabble Challenge

Mother never openly praised Quetzalcoatl. Ramming sacrificial teenagers underground, vicious worship to Xenogod.

uh-oh...I didn't realize how old this topic was. Guess I wasted my morning over the dictionary...Still, great prompt! Do I still get a prize? Is it edible? Is it eating-capable?

Don't Talk to ...? (Stranger theme)

It took a few tries to notice the strangers. My eyes kept sliding off them, convinced there was something more attention-worthy to their left or right. Gaping mouths and blank visages surrounded me. Non-descript hands grasped my face. Names tingled on the tip of my tongue. Perhaps they were shared c...

Re: Bunking with Bovines - (Good Samaritan Theme)

I really like, M'sieur. It conveys the type of dead-pan character that is surprised by absolutely nothing, which is amusing. "Probably because I sleep all night" is just the right touch. A gift I'd love to give myself! But I continue to have nightmares of cows, lowing softly of sore rears and exoti...

Thanks! Although I must ask, aboard what? Ever since that Titanic fiasco, I check the names on my vessels.

Keep OFF the Grass! (Or Else) - No Trespassing Sign Theme

Old Man Whittaker’s yard was likea photoshopped garden magazine. But like most storybook things, it had guardians: a sign marked KEEP OFF THE GRASS, and Whittaker himself. In other words, the perfect target. Unzipping his fly, Jimmy stepped from sidewalk to sod. Right on cue, Whittaker began banging...

Really liked this one. Although I'm not sure if it's humourous or horror...Kokopelli is like a xenomorph with a repertoire of fart jokes.

Bunking with Bovines - (Good Samaritan Theme)

The sanity-eroding cacophony of Aunt Maisie’s snoring meant I was awake to see the aliens crash.  I watched them scurry about their broken saucer, hollering and pointing, before resorting to kicking it with each of their 6 legs in turn. I got into my Chevy and drove out with booster ...
