Re: Proposal for future writing contests

Ya. The systems and structure will definitely be different for the next contest. All in all CwBF was a real success and I think fairness and talent did triumph in the end, but alas, the days are long past when we could post a simple forum vote about who would win in a fight: man-sized crab with a c...

While it might decrease my risk of dying of prostate cancer it would certainly increase my risk of being beaten to death with a frying pan.

Classic old joke. Still funny. :)

Too bad ROU didn't bother to twabblize it.

Do any sword work? A DC long sword with tentacle sword guard and suction cups along the blade would be uber-iffic. (I'm a big fan of what you smithys come up with. Jody Samson used to live near us and made my brother an awesome talon guard skull pommel long sword. A 1 of 10 ltd Ed masterwork. Sadly,...

What's the over/under on a hundred monkeys producing a twabble? Hey, keep it down, back there! *Do you have any idea how noisy a hundred monkeys are?* I reckon it's still an infinite number, even for a Twabble, just a different kind of infinite  Let me ponder that. I'll get back to you after ...

I wrote this one on All Hallows' Eve, 2009 "Jack" I lay in deathly sleep. The cold, sharp edge of the blade opens me, awakening me from my sweet slumber. My skull carved open, brains scooped out and discarded as useless trash. I would scream, but have no mouth for my agonies to issue forth from. Not...
