Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is a hell of a story comment. Tweedy's right up there with the best of the Steve Eley intro's. I have to joke about Giant Water Bugs to fill time because I'll never come up with insights like that. About the story- I really really liked Eugie Foster's "The Snow Woman'...

http://creativecommons.org/license actually explains a lot of it. Essentially you can tailor a CC license the way you want it. Some are much more restrictive than others, so it's a mistake to think all CC licenses are pretty much the same. Ours means you can share the content anywhere you aren't mak...

There's an mp3 of the tune in the "Drabblecast warehouse" link off the main page if you just wanna download the tune.

Hmm...I'm up for any style of music, as long as the song can be about animals with substance abuse problems or what have you...

Nothing can explain a banner ad for Ann Coulter. It's like making a banner ad for AIDS.

Yah, I think people have wanted to put their teeth in their eyes for a long time- it's just until recently that we've finally acquired the technology to live out that dream.

This is Drabblecast anadrea, weird is good. :-) Can you expound on the file sharing thing some? You mean the metaphor is a song/soul = copyrighted file? If so, that's pretty interesting- the irony in the story then would be that hearing your own song is what kills you. I got the impression that the ...

Well I don't know that our interpretations differ that much Tweedy- I pretty much agree with what you said. I think the title, Circe, unlocks a new element to it though- bringing in themes from Homer's The Odyssey. For those of us, like myself, who might not remember our summer reading back in 8th g...

I'm going to try to goad Damien into commenting in here about it at some point. Kendall's in China and can't access the forums because they are communist and don't like to have fun. He thinks the story was based on George Harrison's "Piggies" from the White Album. I think there was some commentary o...

Tweedy, if you or anyone else out there play Smash Bros- Luke, Kendall and Bo are all organizing online gaming. I'm not sure how it works or what's goin on but I'll try to get Luke to fill in. I suck at video games (with the exception of Joust for Atari, which I am the master off) so I play banjo in...

Well said Tweedster- way to make an inspiring monologue even more inspiring. The thing I love about the global platform that technology/internet is providing is the emancipation of culture and ideas. It's an exciting time to live, seeing the restrictive power of giant content industries slacken as c...
