Haha spot on! I actually left some gaps for sound effects (gun clicks, screen doors being ripped off, demon chomping, etc) and forgot to put them in before throwing the episode up (crazy week). I was gonna take it down and throw those in and then noticed it was actually pretty effective without them...

Or we could go over to EP forums and say "Hurry, everyone's trashing science fiction over at the Drabbl...

Well, personally, I'd tell those people to update their software. Mp4 is pretty standard nowadays, and not Apple exclusive. The most recent versions of all the major media players play mp4. I, personally, have never run across a player that doesn't. So, that's my 2¢: iTunes is free. Winamp is free....

Drabblecast feed

Hey folks, I've been getting a decent amount of email from listeners who can't get the Drabblecast feed because the format is m4a, mp4 etc rather than the standard mp3. Iweb, the software I use to publish Drabblecast, publishes exclusively as m4a (itunes-because mac wants to take over the world) so ...

What the hell is up with all these random links??? Bloody contentlink advertising - annoying isn't it? If you want to disable it: when one of the ad bubbles pops up, click on the "?" in the top right and it'll take you to a page where you can disable it (right at the bottom of course). Nowhere near...

Re: Great Story and great show (podcast)!

If you wrote and sang it, then I would love to get a high quality version of it on my iPod. -=Ryan Did you mean for last week's episode in Sleep Age? I can throw up an mp3 of Human Battery in the mp3 warehouse. By the way- did anyone catch any familiar musical motives in this weeks story soundtrack...

Anyone care to venture a guess why the metal tube sounded so awful? I figured it just sounded awful because it was so foreign sounding and alien (to them). Also, when/where are you going to post the Saki links you mentioned in the commentary section? I have some favorites of my own to plug. (After ...

I'm having a hard time believin more people would actually prefer to end up as human incubators than killed in combat with a predator warrior.

I think you people are voting here without really thinking about the issues...

On the other, it wasn't a story: No plot, no characters, no particular setting. It was just a description of a concept for a story, notes. Yah, I think that would disengage me normally, but concept-based stuff seems to work alright in flash fiction, at least IMO, and that's why you usually see more...
