Re: Great Story and great show (podcast)!

If you wrote and sang it, then I would love to get a high quality version of it on my iPod. -=Ryan Did you mean for last week's episode in Sleep Age? I can throw up an mp3 of Human Battery in the mp3 warehouse. By the way- did anyone catch any familiar musical motives in this weeks story soundtrack...

Ok, I'm finally done laughing. After those last two posts by Tweedy and adam I've come to the conclusion that this may be the best thread on the internet.

Anyone care to venture a guess why the metal tube sounded so awful? I figured it just sounded awful because it was so foreign sounding and alien (to them). Also, when/where are you going to post the Saki links you mentioned in the commentary section? I have some favorites of my own to plug. (After ...

I'm having a hard time believin more people would actually prefer to end up as human incubators than killed in combat with a predator warrior.

I think you people are voting here without really thinking about the issues...

plus, Obama wants change...

On the other, it wasn't a story: No plot, no characters, no particular setting. It was just a description of a concept for a story, notes. Yah, I think that would disengage me normally, but concept-based stuff seems to work alright in flash fiction, at least IMO, and that's why you usually see more...

If the reason he had to kill himself was because he never wanted to see his sister die or suffer, having seen his sister die negated the initial motivation. Had he really thought she was going through with it he probably would have drank with her, but he was so concerned with checking to see if she ...

I'm surprised feedback is so light on this story- I thought it was great. Maybe Tweedy (as he often does) captured and synthesized most peoples thoughts? Maybe the Drabblenews about ingesting pig brain tissue left a bad taste in everyone's mouth? (hehe)

What fiction story? I'm drawing a blank.

Yes, well I've been looking for a good monster-goat story to balance things out, but no luck so far.

This is a good argument for keeping cows on your roof. One of the many... I have to admit though, I kind of bought more into the water origin theory. With the boat capsizing in the news at the beginning, I could just imagine it crawling out of the bay. The other thing that kind of got me - did the ...
