Re: The Drabblecast Art Reclamation Project

Any feedback on the immediate product, feel free to share, it may already be on Tom's/my list and simply unfinished. For one, we want a better gallery for showing off cover art. This isn't really about the art parts of the site but I noticed there isn't a date showing for each episode. On the side ...

Re: Feed update

I can concur (I'm using the Juice podcatcher), since it still had the old feed (feeds.feedburner.com/DrabblecastMp3) it wouldn't pick up anything newer than last week's Orange episode. I only realised there was a new episode from seeing it on the new, spangly, 2011, updated website. Juice needs the ...

Re: The Drabblecast Art Reclamation Project

For anyone who's interested, I've posted a "making of" article about the three illustrations I've contributed so far. I laid out how I did each one step by step. :) http://www.diabolicalplots.com/?p=2207 Hey, that's real neat! Thanks for laying that out. Not being an artist, I enjoy that insight. (...

Re: The Drabblecast Art Reclamation Project

Any feedback on the immediate product, feel free to share, Hi there, Bo, long-time listener, first time caller, could the 'thumbnail' for each episode, e.g. when you search on the new site and get a list of results showing on the page, be a smaller version of the whole 'art' rather than a closer-to...

Re: The Drabblecast Art Reclamation Project

Btw, what's with the lack of love for the Trifecta stories, eh? Yea, I've been noticing that as I help build the new site. Art up some Trifectas, peeps! I know they are some of my favorite stories. One theory I've had, it's that it's hard to encapsulate 3 stories into 1 piece of art. Hey, there's c...

Re: The Drabblecast Art Reclamation Project

Now that you've got (most of) the originally snapped up Drabble Art work, what is the new deadline/timescale for episode art that people want to make from now on? (I'm assuming that any extra work will be gratefully received as soon as it can be made, yes?) Bo - I've emailed you a few more episodes ...

Re: Drabblecast 200 - The Last Question by Isaac Asimov

Mur Lafferty's destiny as a nearing god-like super computational entity..... Seems obvious now. The episode was great. I'm jealous of anyone who hadn't read the story before and gets to experience it for the first time in this form. Congrats, Norm. Like the others have said, "just one more week and ...

Re: Drabblecast 197 - Death Comes But Twice

Does someone go to hell because they believe they've done something sinful when they haven't, and do bad people go to heaven because they believe they have done nothing wrong? It comes down to what the listener believes. For me, I tend to think when listening to stories like this people get what th...

Apparently, this guy who knows this girl heard from this other guy whose bandleader's taxidermist saw this thing about how if you click on your podcatcher update button 3 times after midnight....................another halloween special episode appears.
Just like that.

I hope they were (only) animatronic anyways.

Otherwise it's a bit of a different story than I imagined.
And I'd be less inclined to visit such an apparently alien-infested park if I'm honest.

Re: Drabblecast 164- The Observer by Kristine Kathryn Rusch

I hope this is taken as a compliment to the author but I found the later parts of the story (more detail about the 'conflict' with the squid type creatures) to be a distraction from the "main" part of the story - a fractured and artificial personality trying to find some equilibrium or, failing that...
