Although a link to the mp3 file shows on the "Mp3" page, the file in the mp3 podcast is a .mov

Have we not had enough of your "Mp3 is an inferior medium" propaganda and file-pushing, Norm?

There is a story, I don't remember the name, where pretty much the same thing happens as to the narrator in this story - people find themselves stuck in their bodies but X years previous, and are helpless to do anything but watch as events play out exactly as they did before. Not to say that this st...

I liked the feeling of 'muddling through' that the character does: knowing everything clearly means knowing *about* everything but doesn't include what to do with that knowledge. One nitpick I'd have to.....ur.... pick is the time issue - at the start of the story, he 'knows' what will happen with h...

For me this story was better in the first few minutes when I thought it was set in a type of Sims type setting. The idea of the characters 'merely' being actual characters still worked but it felt more......real time, like as a listener I was really in the situation. Once I realised it was set as a ...

I found(out about) The Night Air last summer. ( http://www.abc.net.au/rn/nightair/default.htm ) It's one of ABC Nationals regular programmes and very much recommended. As far as I know the format is unique 1/2 hour-40 mins ish episodes, each with a particular topic with interviews, music, audio clip...

Aww, I wasn't meaning any criticism.

(apart from the jungle sounds in my otherwise personal favourite Floating Over Time, at least)

I was wondering if is helpful if people provide notes on the sounds or music that they'd like.

Music and Audiophemera

Who decides on the music and (sound) effects added onto drabbles and stories?

Do writers include suggestions for the music they'd like or background effects?
Or is Norm god of all drabblecasty audio?

Floating Over Time

I thought this was hands down the most lyrical, beautiful, speculative, poignant and - strange given that one of the characters is presumeably an a.i. - human story podcasts I've ever heard. (in fact I signed up here just so I could post a response to the episode) On the one hand, to be in the last ...
