Re: Cranial reverberations

The tick, tick, ticking. And the dong-cuckoos! A cranially implanted cuckoo clock seemed such a great idea at the time. Places I could have visited and food I might have tasted. The times I could have kissed a girl. Sadly it's all been wasted. What!? NEVER kissed a girl? You poor thin...

I have to admit, I've been known to zone out myself while people are telling jokes.

The best solution is to tell better jokes! :P

Re: Drabblecast 345 - Cat With Blue Fur Trifecta

I loved all these stories from the moment I first saw them in the competition and I've been looking forward to this episode ever since.

I especially loved Norm's reading of Meow Meow Bang Bang. Even funnier than reading it. :D

Re: Classics 14 (EP 43) - Jelly Park

Ha-Ha HA.. HA! I was away visiting family when this Posted as a Classics episode, but it was a great wind down after all the wine and whisky and noisy kids. I didn't drink the noisy kids though. Like the jelly, they just aren't runny. I've been wondering about Norm's board signature for a while, so ...

Server seems a bit slow

Is it just me, or is it taking a little while to upload new posts today?

Reminds me of my first flat. Couldn't even turn around to scratch your bum. Not that I ever tried, you understand, but lesser people might have done. ;)

You know, that doesn't seem to happen any more.

Anyway, I don't like Soccer. I don't like Cricket either, but at least Cricket used to have streakers.

I think you should read Slipper as Court Shoe. You'd still have to be VERY careful how you put your feet down though.

And have you ever tried walking in 6" heels? I generally call it a day at 4" myself.

Re: What's Your Drink?

I've become pretty hooked on slowly drinking straight whisky. Now, when I drink beer I always feel a little bloated after more than one. I prefer low sugar beers like Guinness and some pale ales. Trouble with beer is that you make it from the same ingredients as bread, but the calorific content is ...

Cinderella's Transgender Ball

Actually, this isn't so much a story as... I think the word is A Squib. On a TG forum I belong to, one of the members decided it would be fun to do a traditional British Pantomime in forum posts, so I wrote this piece as part of that. By pure chance, It came out at precisely 100 words, so I thought...

I think there comes a time when you just have to trust your reader to read sentences in the order they are presented. If readers are inclined to read the last line first, you'll NEVER get a punchline to work.

Since you brought it up, are you completely blind or just legally blind and able to view large print? I'm curious as to how you're able to communicate on a bulletin board website. These days, I'm completely blind. (Long illness. Very boring.) There are things about these days called Screen Readers....

How does one prove one is not a sim? There is a simple test. Just drive out of town heading north. If the next place you come to is the same town, approached from the south, you're a Sim. Easy! :P Wow, that's really strange! Built-in Deja Vu! So, how does one prove one is not a sim? Failing to prov...

I don't see why not. Stories in one format frequently get rewritten into another format. It saves having to make up a totally new story. LOL
