Re: Sex with 21 women lowers risk of prostate cancer

Makes you wonder... Did men evolve to have multiple partners? Is prostate cancer a consequence of sexual restraint? Would an extended course of hand-jobs negate the effect of having few sexual partners? How many thousands or millions of years would it take for the effect (if it exists) to disappear....

They're all pretty darn good.
Other than My Little Cthulu, I particularly like Spock and Chewbacca.

... He craned his neck to look up. He smiled as the back plates lit up Cherenkov blue and a jet of fire spewed into the night, dropping a jet like a scorched moth. The kid had even done the sea-floor ooze on the foot just right. Two handfuls. I learned a little about Cherenkov radiation as a result...

I must stress, these are virtual merch. Nothing is being manufactured. All I did was upload some DC graphics (tweaked in GIMP) and added them to customisable products. No money has changed hands ;)

Personally, I'd buy the T-shirt and the commute/travel mug. :)

Music therapy

Too late, he realised. The strange music did not only banish troubles. He faded to nothingness. A whisper on the breeze.

Final request

Unseen in the cool grey light of dawn, he lingers at the water’s edge by the quayside, observing the busy market. Familiar voices and shouts of the fish sellers, wives and daughters of the fishermen. His love is there, young and full of life, but sad this day. In youth they had pledged their hearts....

Re: RSS feed not updated

Hi folks, just wanted to report that when my pod catching app didn't update for a few weeks,... It is a while since the last "regular" DC episode. I hear Norm has been busy with a home move, so we must hold back on our frustrations  . The anticipation will make the next episode all the sweeter...

The lines that had me confused: I’ve been scrubbing Joanne out of the floorboards for weeks. She always was the outspoken type. I think I have it now... give me time, my br...

Very nice. I like the description of Papa in the second para, "a full body" and that he "smelled of oak and cigars". Is wine really fermented in animal skins, btw? Whatever, the idea that Papa wanted his own skin to be used in that way is oddly appealing. A sign of his dedication to the persuance of...

Re: DC Merch?

Inspiration may be found by visiting custom product websites. I recently bought a rather smart cotton apron (" Clean All The Things! ") in support of the Hyperbole And A Half blog. It was supplied by Zazzle.com . Shipping to the UK (5-10 days) was around 9 bucks. Zazzle's web site has loads of ideas...
