Re: How'd you find Drabblecast?

I heard Norm narrate a great story on an older episode of Escape Pod I downloaded, called "Harry the Crow." Thought it was a great narration, did what they asked and checked out "The Drabblecast" and WAS TOTALLY CHUFFED that the first ep I got was "Dagon!!!" :D I was, from then on, hopelessly hooked.

Re: Your Avatar

My avatar is a cat looking cross-eyed at a bee on its nose. It's saying - WTF! Which is what I would likely say if I had a bee on my nose. This is the best I could do until I get the designs done on my WX Girl stuff. I might then switch to one of those. But WTF Kitty might grow on me by then.

Elder's Journey

With busy hands, the Protectors readied the slumbering gods for their journey to a new home. When the Astronomers observed the alignment of certain stars (according to their calculations) the craft were launched. The Elder Ones went first. The Astronomers were certain the capsules would remain unope...

Re: Drabbler Magazine #16 Contest

I was just informed that any drabbles that have been published previously, and that means here or in a blog, may not be eligible for the awards. I'll update this as I learn more. This is just a heads up. I told them that if they want to pull my entires I understand. Wow. This is somewhat of a bumme...

Re: Traffic Jam

Dropping out in 100 words. Makes me want to pack up and head for some little log cabin out in the woods where I can sit on my porch, drink whiskey and take potshots at the neighbors with my sawed-off shotgun.

Great story.

[The ghouls are welcome to Windsor, the castle is already home to the undead. This was atmospheric, and a fun vignette (vinaigrette?). Tweedy is right about trying to do too much, this is often where I come unstuck. In some of the best drabbles nothing happens at all. To carry the action this shoul...

Pop Culture Fairy Tale

The entire kingdom is in an uproar and my parents are pissed.
It's my fault. I can't help it. I kissed a frog, and I liked it.

Sorry about the screwing with your head. Sadly, i'm a toxic and very active vector for the cyber-Christ memetic virus. I figured the Drabblecast Forum was a perfect place to set it loose. Hmmm, I'm only counting 11 Monkey's in my bedroom. Where the *&%$ has Bonzo gotten to? Damn, I really need to g...

Cosmic Chicken Inn

Everyone knows that Cosmic Chicken Inn has the best eats anywhere. They're located 42 AU away on Rigel 7, but worth the wait. I logged in to place my order, waiting for the wireless ansible to connect. “Cosmic Chicken Inn, this is Zephod. Pick-up or delivery?” “Delivery. I’d like two Buckets o' Bird...
