Re: Fan Cast (Dribblecast Decision Making)

Thanks to the glorious and patient efforts of ejbman, Early Riser is scheduled to post on Wednesday. Yes, the whole thing. For those who don't remember which one that was ... teehee. :D

I have what looks to be about three recordings to send up, but I'll probably look into those tomorrow.

Re: MB4 R3 - ??? vs. ??? vs. ???

But that is not to say that the warmachine of the merfolk cannot kick ass in this round. Yeah, I'm down with War Merchine (though obviously not Top Three Places down  ). I'm not opposed to aquatic combatants if I think they have a chance in hell of being a competitor on land instead of sea foo...

Re: Fan Cast (Dribblecast Decision Making)

Australia is very sinister. Nationally speaking anyway. Individually, all the Australians I know are awesome. Except that one neonazi I used to argue with. I wouldn't have bothered, but he was in the closet about thinking nazism was cool. Nowadays, I wouldn't bother regardless because I try not to a...

Re: MB4 R3 - ??? vs. ??? vs. ???

 I've been kind of distracted. Painted shoes I made for my brother's birthday have turned into a bit of an opportunity to do more ... for money. The pay wouldn't be enough to live on, but it would be a huge help and one day might turn into something I could do full time. :D Anyway, I do know ab...

No worries, man. I have drabble misunderstandings all the time with not nearly so good an excuse. :D

Careful on those ladders.

Criminals

“Let’s do this forever,” Jane said. She tore bits of stale bread into the manicured grass. “What? Feed birds on fancy lawns?” I laughed. “You know what I mean, Hannah.” I turned the stereo up. The decibel meter read way above county ordinance. An old man in a robe opened his door. He screamed to his...

Re: Drabblecast 183- Angel of the Ordinary by Tim Pratt

i am glad you felt ok to say that about a Tim Pratt story. I swear, i got stoned by fans, when i said i did not like something he did. Myself i thought this was really great but i am happy you did not. I think we're usually pretty accepting of people not liking stories around here, unless the not-l...

Unspeakable Duck makes me laugh. Assuming we're not talking about Ducks Are Bastards duck, I think that's one of the archive episodes I haven't heard yet. If someone could point that out, I'd be grateful. Also, I'd be grateful if everyone would support my campaign for Emperor of English. I'm campaig...

Re: Given Superpowers, Everyone Would Become Villains

Teleport would be cool, but you'd need to combine it with the ability to know where you're teleporting to. You wouldn't want to end up in a mountain or right in front of a moving car. Likewise superspeed, like Dash from the Incredibles, would be useless without super reflexes and a strengthened bon...

Re: Given Superpowers, Everyone Would Become Villains

Do you get to decide what kind of powers you get? Flight and invisibility would be awesome, but with my lukc I'd probably get Super Sensitive Smell. I already have super inferior smell. It's kind of a nice super power to have, but it still lets certain spectrum through. Like lasagna and rancid milk...

Hey dreamrock, does posterous give you any interesting stats? Depends on how seriously you take its claims. Everything between Where's A Friend and Sea God(s) (coincidence, I'm sure) has between 1000-2000 views(?). Most everything that's older is in the 340-999 views(?) range. Normalized , Tw...

Re: MB4 R2 - Lamb Chops vs. Big Boris vs. The Meth Worm

The magazine-storage connection still exists in the world firearms, where the magazine is the place ammunition is stored (and fed to the weapon). As in: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magazine_(firearms) And also, this abomination/unspeakable horror (note the daisies on the magazine):  I for one...

Re: MB4 R2 - Lamb Chops vs. Big Boris vs. The Meth Worm

(Magazine = grocery store because its Arabic root meant storage; English transformed a lot along the way, whereas Russian kept it mostly unchanged). Plus French? Magasin. It's fun to learn, kids! *slinks back to corner to sulk* :D The only languages I have sufficient experience with to bring this s...
