 Epic. Unfortunately, the Capt. is pretty well established as a "one wife" kind of guy. How many mistresses he might have is less clear.

When I woke up with a feather on my arm, I knew I'd dreamt of flying. That was awesome. Waking up with dog bites? Not so cool.

Re: Adventures of Capt. McClain, pt 2

This was all good. :P ... Until the last line. What the hey? Maybe if the three ditzes despaired into suicide, or ended up on the Springer show? Or maybe it was a close thing and our Cap'n scored once he left the nunnery? I agree the last line needs changing. I couldn't think of an epic follo...

Adventures of Capt. McClain, pt 2

(Adventures of Capt. McClain, pt 1 , pt 3 ) We should mention the great depths from which the tremendous man, Capt. McClain, climbed to reach such heights. He was born the regular way. Imagine! Though he was bearded and five months early. I won't say he shot the doctor for slapping him. That would b...

Re: Story suggestions?

Double check to make sure, but I think these might qualify as G. They're fairly advanced in terms of concepts, but if they're appropriate in content, I don't think they'd be entirely too much for kids around the age of 10-12. The really good kid stuff I know of is way too long to meet the 25 minute ...

Generally Ruskies testing missles doesn't come as a relief, but it really did look like a photoshop filter was about to destroy the world. There's a story in that somewhere. Johnny made a filter in Photoshop. It was guaranteed to make any photo awesome. After a brief lull where no one knew it reall...

"Safe Neighborhood?" Ever think, "I'd like to buy a home in this neighborhood. I wonder if they have much trouble with Sasquatch around here?" Don't wonder: Be Sure Someone tweeted it, but like an idiot I cleared it so I don't know who to blame. EDIT: LOL Well, looks like it wasn't a tweet, it was ...

Nice take on the proliferation of It's A Wonderful Life with a SF/Horror bent. Is G.B. Clones, LLC run by Mr. Potter? You only need one after all.

Re: Norway's being sucked into a reality vortex.

I hear the Russians fessed up to it. Apparently they were testing an ICMB, and one of the upper stages wigged out and, instead of burning its fuel, sprayed it in a big spiral. I've got to give the Russians some props for using a missile to create a spectacle in the skies of northern Europe during t...

The Great Debate is pretty awesome so far. It's about role playing, but it's more amusing than informative. http://otherdoc.libsyn.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false

Aint nothin like the real thing, baby... as in "Baby; the other, other, white meat. Get in my belly!" Love the idea of humans eating human-flavored food and the self-justifications that arise. Very nice parody, Mr.D.Rock "Would there be so many vegetarians if plants could scream and run away in ter...

Artificial Flavor

Relations with the Sarcarity improved after we shared the invention of artificial flavors. Humans even opened Sarcarity restaurants. What El Burrito Joint had done for Mexican and O'Burgers had done for French, the fast Sarcarity restaurants did for their food. Sarcarity culture was reduced to offen...

No worries. I'm just glad to have it figured out in time for this week's Christmas. By which I mean: the work hour in which I listen to Drabblecast. There isn't an appointed hour, but it's pretty awesome.

Re: Drabblecast 141- On the Destruction of Copenhagen

The first two minutes of the podcast are fine, but then it cuts out and goes to about twenty five minutes of silence. D: Hmmm. I had no trouble with it, and it seems to stream OK from the website. Maybe just delete and re-download? I'll try again. Hope it's fixed. I've tried three times. EDIT...

I regularly use more browsers than most people I know (Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, and ... even IE when I'm doing web development), so I tend to use whatever one works best under the circumstances. Bah, how can you do web development without the web-developer toolbar and Firebug (Both Firefox e...

Re: Adventures of Capt. McClain, pt 1

Or just use Firefox, which: (1) does a much better job (and caught that mistake in the first place, for me), (2) has better plugins, (3) doesn't sell every keystroke to the Grab-All corporation ("Do no evil", my butt). I would, but Firefox gets very poor performance on my netbook. Opera is my...
