Re: THE BARGAIN… I SHALL REMAIN: (Twabble-Drabble)

Added "Twabble-Drabble" to title to avert any possible confusion.

Re: THE BARGAIN… I SHALL REMAIN:

Strawman: I totally agree that the Twabble-Drabble is not close to being the ideal format for telling a story, very far from it, it's just too constraining. Mine were done as a response to ROU's challenge to me and ASID, (who has not answered the challenge yet, to my knowledge... nudge ,nudge :) ) B...

Re: Zombie tag makes getting to class 'more interesting'

This sort of preparation should come in very handy if there is ever an actual zombie outbreak... Or it might just make things worse, as the "zombies" in this story probably don't have the same drive for brains that the real deal would have, and people might get the wrong idea about how hard it is to...

Re: Perfect Corporate Sponsorship

Best commercial that I've seen in a long time.

I thought it would end with a drunken octopus carrying him to land. But I guess he slayed it or something.

Re: Man wears armor but invisible, tiny jelly gets him anyway.

I like your misleading title, really made me wonder what the story would be about.

Gave me an idea for a very silly story about a knight fighting an invisible Jelly Monster.

But the actual article was scary enough as it is. Makes me glad that I don't live in Australia.

Yes, Barfy pooped like an expert mine layer.
Oh so silly, but I appreciate the the name Barfy. A play on barfly I would guess.

Re: THE BARGAIN… I SHALL REMAIN:

Strawman: I agree that any writing should be the best that it can be. But I disagree about not writing Twabble-Drabbles just because they are a very tall mountain to climb. Why write Drabbles or Twabbles at all? Because of the rules right? That's what makes them an interesting challenge. And while t...

Re: Announcing the Weekly Tw(itter)-(Dr)abble Contest!

"Snakes" The old man crouched; naked and alone in the swamp water. Long ago the snakes had gotten to him. Now they lived in his head. I guess that the snakes are in his head both literally and figuratively there, right? Nice. Also, I checked your site out and voted some, good simple site, I've been...

Re: THE BARGAIN… I SHALL REMAIN:

I have been thinking about it, and like the concept more and more. Put me down as a fan of the second half :p I do not think that you will be able to stop. You have caught drabbleittus. Yes, people do not seem to be responding well to the Twabble-Haikus, although I am quite proud of them, and for f...

Re: Slaughterhouse

Made me laugh, hope that doesn't mean I am insensitive to the horrible plight of farm animals.

I had to google "trotter" just to be just to be sure it was a pig foot.

I guess he's in for a "rude awakening" when he tries to make coffee without thumbs.

Re: CURSE OF THE TIME BENDERS:

I suspected that this as a TWABBLE-DWABBLE (try it with a lisp) from your layout, but you held it together despite the extra constraint. I liked the absurd final twabble. Thumbs up. Thanks lemon dude! It's situations like this one that highlights just why it is so important to keep an extra packet ...

Re: THE BARGAIN… I SHALL REMAIN:

Hmm, I preferred CURSE OF THE TIME BENDERS. I think perhaps this drabble suffered a little from the format. You could tease some more out of the refusal idea which was interesting; the devil/god makes an offer, it is refused and the result is eternal purgatory. Ya, this one is not as easy to grasp....

FYI dear reader: This is a Twabble-Drabble, and each section is 100 characters, (the two haikus are 100 characters when combined.)

Re: CURSE OF THE TIME BENDERS:

Thanks ASID, glad you liked it.
But lets not forget to mention, for anybody who does not frequent the twit-fic arena, that
this, (like me first Drabble) IS A TWABBLE-DRABBLE! (each section is 100 characters)
And right now my brain hurts from hammering them into submission.

CURSE OF THE TIME BENDERS: (Twabble-Drabble)

Bits of fragmented reality fractured and shattered angrily as I slammed the emergency stop button on my time-machine. Wondering where I had materialized this time, I looked through the porthole and saw a foul scene. It seemed I was in hell. A charred and desolate landscape reaching to the horizon wa...

Well okay there's my two Twabble-Drabbles. And that second one is my 100th post. :)

But F5iver, I show your collaboration Twabble-Drabble as two characters short... :(

I feel a great weariness coming upon me now... Those SOBs are hard to get right! 8)

Re: Announcing the Weekly Tw(itter)-(Dr)abble Contest!

Yea, I'm tired. Plus, with 43 pages of twitfics, and you responsible for 86% of them, I missed a lot. Yeah, I think my best twabbles were largely overlooked. And there's no way, in Heck, that Norm reads all of this thread. PS. I'm down to 70%. Jebi has taken over much of the bulk-posting duti...

A Twabble-Drabble (as requested)
