Re: The Coming of the Doombringer

Actually I rather liked the suddenness of the ending, it fits with the mundane feeling of the rest of the drabble - just another day, just another delivery type thing. I think if it ended hanging with him looking at the package in dread or similar it would seem too ominous, and lend the story a much...

Re: 10 new wierd deep sea creatures

See, now these are the kind of things I'd want in an aquarium, bioluminescent flowery looking things beat a goldfish any day. They're low maintenance, and double as convenient sea floor sediment disposal. That, or a glowing monkey. Hell, anything that glows would be kinda cool - I could take my dog ...

Re: Quiet Desperation

Oooh, made me shiver. Or at least I shivered when I got to the end, so I assume it was the drabble :) Bleak.

Re: The Gun

Hmm, I think I preferred the killer and a liar ending - its didn't really seem that ambiguous to me, at least in context. Although now I think about it I can see where mrsmica was coming from.

Re: Robots

Hmm, I'm having an unusual problem here with suspension of disbelief - would anyone really ever get bored of making robots? I mean, there are so many cool robots to make, and they're robots :)

I liked it :)

Re: The Device

Hey, when there's an apocalypse lead by the Elder Gods where they force cell phones to rise up against humanity it'll be priceless. Able to not only stop the minions in their path, but to destroy their sources of feeding, hence preventing their gaining enough energy to undergo binary fission. Yep, I...

Re: Post your Twitfic Twabbles Here! (General Content)

The aliens solemnly spake unto me: "Take us to your leader.

Nah, just kidding, we're totally going to blow your shit up!"

I was torn between drabble and twabble for this one, but time lent itself to twabble. I may try a drabble version later. Also, that twabble sizer rocks! :)

11:37 Restate my assumptions.
One. Drabblecast is the language of nature. Two. Everything around us can be represented and understood through Drabblecast. Three. Drabblecast holds the pattern of the universe.

Ok, drifted slightly away with number three, but it didn't translate well :)

That Time of Year

The sun blazed, white, metallic, in the barren sky. He sat at the edge of the compound, his shotgun draped across his thighs, one hand resting lightly on the stock. Every ten minutes he turned, and spat - a great, glistening, tobacco-stained gobbet of spittle. His eyes were fixed on the horde. He st...
