Yeah, I have to say my favourite part of the whole cast was the warning, which I listened to twice.
The story was well written and the author can certainly turn a delicious phrase. But it was just, well, boring. It doesn't even rate a 'meh.'
It doesn't help that I was promised boobies.

A few years ago I, erm, embodied a character who was sort of a cross between a clown and a mime---in other words, Bramwell was a clown who didn't talk. Reactions were rather interesting. Very few people seemed to get creeped out, but they were never quite sure how to take him. Part of the fun was tr...

Wow, dinner and a show. I liked the story. It didn't break any records for depth, but it was different enough to keep me interested. I've decided I like absurdity. I couldn't help thinking of the Futurama episode 'Kif gets knocked up a notch' in which Kif finds himself pregnant by means less usual i...

I've got to go against the general grain here---I didn't really enjoy this all that much. I mean, I got into it as far as it went, but it felt like the author forgot to finish it. I was waiting for something to happen... and all I get was Norm saying, well, that was our story! I'm not complaining th...

How to catch a giant squid
I know. We all SAY we like us some giant squid, but have we ever actually gone a-hunting? I'm not trying to make you all to look like patsies. I'm simply not sure how to actually go about it. Well, I wasn't sure, until now. The wonderful folk at BoingBoing have posted a howto guide with three method...

Yep, good stories. I found the ending of Shelter somewhat ambiguous. The initial reaction is to assume it was the above ground community that perished---but was it? In Order to Conserve was the highlight of the three. I love an absurd premise in my stories, and you couldn't have got a better person ...

I've noticed that, but I've also noticed he sounds a bit more tired than usual. In fact, it all coincides with the appearance of Norma Sherman on the boards. Isn't that the age old story? Girl stalks boy, boy falls for girl, girl takes boy on trip to South Carolina where there is a mysterious accide...

This story made my own world a little bizarre. I listened to it in the car with my wife yesterday. Mrs Blammo doesn't usually enjoy the Drabblecast---"It's too weird," she'll say. "Can't we listen to 'The Law Report' or 'The Science Show'?" Yet she loved this one. The idea of a lactating male made h...

Spider-Man rescues autistic Thai boy
I have always believed that with great power comes great responsibility. And we all know firemen are very responsible members of the community. Turns out that firies in Thailand take their responsibility very seriously.
