High-speed rail has been in the works for LA to Vegas, and for LA to Frisco for 50 years.... Similar story in Australia. Meanhwile the airspace between Melbourne and Sydney remains one of the busiest in the world, and that and the cars spew hundreds of metric tonnes of C02 into the atmosphere each ...

Re: Great Old One Witnesses (Lovecraft themed)

Thanks guys. This is actually a really condensed version of a short story that's been sitting in my harddrive for the past few years that I just can't think of a punchline for. I managed to get it down from 1000 words to 130, but needed help shaving off the last 30. I think it helps if you read the ...

Great Old One Witnesses (Lovecraft themed)

The leaflet’s title read Acolyting and You above an elephant doing something awkward with an octopus. “I don’t have time for Cth-Kf…” “ Cthulhu , sir. And the question should be, how you could make time for him, and his thousand young; many of whom also have human form.” He couldn’t put his finger o...

Re: Squirrels on Mars!

That's no squirrel. It's quite clearly a guinea pig. That would explain the constant squeaking noise they make. They're not being cute, they're trying to contact the mother ship in a frequency undetectable to humans.

And see! They already have a foothold in all our primary school class rooms....

Special Delivery Service (No Trespassing Sign theme)

Mark was a postman. A good postman. He was one of the lucky kids, knowing what he wanted to be when he was an adult. He didn’t waste his time with college, instead signing up straight from school with the Royal Mail and got to work. In 20 years he really had thought he’d seen everything. Men answeri...

It's like DRabblecast was listening to my mind. I've been listening to the Moon soundtrack today, and wondering if Cast Macabre would ever release another cast, and lo and behold here are both!

Great story well told. Great episode.

Only four percent of Americans agree that "shape-shifting reptilian people control our world by taking on human form and gaining political power to manipulate our societies," while 88 percent disagree and seven percent are not sure. Or they could just cache the bits of the universe we can't see. That's why voyager took so long to exit the solar system, it was stuck on the loading screen.
