LIAR

If the truth were known, would knowing it make a difference?
What if it were difficult?
I would change it; make it easier.

There's no mystery behind the elipsis. The eyeless man wants to see. The noseless man wants to smell.

This T is weird, but the weirdest part is the only size still available is small. Remind Norm of his promise to restock.

Actually, I was going to say I make exceptions for forum members. Especially those who, like {esteemed forumite}, could win a Strange Listeners Contest with tentacles tied behind his carapace. You simply had to scan past his posts to appreciate the perfection of his otherworldliness. My alter ego? S...

Re: Proposal for future writing contests

I don't read long. A bad opening sentence, multiple typos & misspells the author didn't take the time to edit, are strong indicators of hackneyitis.

The Circle of Life It's like that at the swap meet. Everyone clears out all the stuff that they once wanted, to make room for the stuff - we'll know it when we see it - that we'll buy. At the swap meet we tell one another, "How much you want for that?" You haul it home and keep it, until you run out...

Welcome to Slushworld, Mr. Chairman.
Only there is no deadline for submissions, so there is an unending stream.
So it's like panning for gold, except what gold you find, you give to Norm.
At least you've got enough stiff drinks to come up with extended sandwich analogies. :D
