Re: Drabblecast 115 - Clown Eggs

This story is fun, to the point weirdness. The baby-clown voice was the cherry on top. Great fare.

Re: Drabblecast 327 – Tree, Fire, World

Nice one!
Good job of layering self-similar patterns. No real negatives, even for a moralistic story. This was was unusually light-handed.

The new Drabbleclassics feed is an excellent addition.

Re: Drabblecast 323 – Missed Connection

I was not a fan of this story. it was very clear very early on that he had stumbled into some parallel dimension. The author really hit us over the head with the clues and it took a long time to listen to him blunder through each clue and rationalize it to himself. There wasn't much of a payoff eit...

(Okay, in an effort to pick up discussion around here, I'm going to start pointing out flaws I see in stories, not just praise the good parts. Am I the only one who felt this way about the story? Did it hit you differently? Let's discuss it!) I agree, this story was a good one. It walked the line of...

Yeaouch! Sorry buddy. I know it's not pleasant when somebody goes at your rear end like that.

So is the back surgery due to this accident, or in addition to?

Re: Drabblecast 324 – The Ball Room

Nicely done! This was an excellent piece of horror.
Why is it that kids are so frightening? You see this a lot in Doctor Who; taking of simple children's rhymes or activities and turning them into pure horror.
Drabble and Twabble were perfect.
