Well, unless anyone has an objection, why don't we agree to let Norm go with the style he tinks will work best. And with at least one splat sound effect for Chiverybean. I'd like the episodes to be referenced in order 1,2, 3, and so on. Its the Greman in me. And what do you guys think about capping...

Well, as one of the 88 donors, my 2¢ is that it's all good. I don't want to saddle Norm with too stringent of criteria. I would like all the verses to somehow flow together and relate to each other, but beyond that I'm not particular. Whatever y'all decide is good. I didn't know paypal would do 2 c...

I could do Dylan without singing in Dylan style. I agree that that might distracting. Necessary gratuitousness is my middle name- any splats/face eating/cat dissolving will be done ever so tastefully. That'd be good. But of course, you're just trying to get out of reggae. ;-) Wierd Al's "BoB&q...

Thanks for yet again another great drabblecast. Norm, I wonder sometimes how you have the creativity to do things like the vampire catfish, every week. Top notch. The story was very solid! I liked it a lot. If the DC can average out to a story of this level, I'm happy. So when is someone going to wr...

Dylan would be good except then we couldn't understand what he's saying. :-)

Hmm.. Reggae?

I'll dip my oar in. I love WNYC's Radio Lab. They do a clever production of in depth science topics. Hooting Yard on the Air is whacky. I canna say if I recommend it or not, but Frank Key writes some truly gripping prose on truly inane subjects. And my favorite podcast to go to sleep to is Discovery...

Tom Baker (tbaker2500) saved Drabblecast. Ask him into your heart and he will do the same for you. Don't we have to nail him to a tree and go through that whole process before he can get in to our hearts? Nope- not with Tom. You can just give him your username and password and he can get right in t...

Re: Help Norm with a Tech Question- ID tags

Most of you probably know by now that my brain is filled with information about giant squid- not web publishing. So, here are some problems that have been brought up by listeners that I'm not sure how to fix- maybe someone out there can save the day? 1. If you click the itunes subscribe button on t...

Grumples Why is this not on my iPod? I must need to change something after the feed change... So far though, judging from the past, I like Sake the writer better than saki the drink. What client are you using, iTunes or other? If iTunes, right click on the drabblecast feed, and click "update p...

It worked. The original iTunes feed is up again. It did give me ghosted duplicates of all the episodes, but that isn't a big deal. Yay! iTunes sees the feed as new, so it downloads a new set. Oh well. We just have to click on the dup episode and press delete. Thanks for the feedback. Tom

Horribly good episode! I'm noticing that you're getting the Drabble and main story to match. Nice. The drabble was great. The main story by Saki was excellently written. The meta-story telling concept is executed grandly. While nothing about the plot was extraordinary, the writing and the telling we...

Feed changeover

Ok guys and gals, did the feed change work? iTunes should automatically pick up the new episodes and change the feed over. Unfortunately, it will download all old episodes also, since it's a "new feed". At the very least, did we get through to everyone a temporary copy of the new feed at t...

That sound like the voice of frustration. So what's the hangup at this point? The new version of iWeb won't let you specify the full path or something?

I'm no expert in iWeb, I use rapidweaver for all my web dev. But I do know macs and web hosting quite well, so I can help if you need.

Joust.. Archon.. My personal favorite is... oh darn it! What was it's name? Small character, you can drill either to the left or right of you. Bad dudes chase you, fall into pit, and you can walk over them. They crawl back out after 3 seconds or something. Bah, I'm getting old. Tom Lode Runner! Tha...

Well, I guess we come from different perspectives. I prefer to not comment on things I didn't like, and compliment on things I did like. I see no purpose in criticizing what are essentially volunteers. I see great good in promoting excellent work.

My 2c. Do with it what suits you.
