Re: New forum software & styling

And great thanks go to humble ASID here, who drove the whole process and worked with Bo to get the style made.
I really like the new layout, it works great on my phone now, and has a light, airy death-by-tentacles feel.

Re: Drabblecast 349 - The Island of White Houses

This was pretty good! To be honest, I thought the island was just a trap set by the sea creatures to lure people to their deaths.

Re: PayPal cancelled my subscription without notifying me

Thanks Thomas!
PayPal can be very flaky. Thanks for updating us on this!
I'm in the process of rolling out a new subscription system. I also recently got engaged, sooooo... Not not getting things done as quickly as I wish. :-)

This was hilarious. Loved it!
Premise: Take fears. Make fears come true. Stretch fears out so far they become absurd. End result: making fun of our fears, but not in the expected way.

Kudos!

Re: Drabblecast 341- The Litany of Earth

This story was too long and too good. I really dug it, even if it took several sessions to listen to it all.
I'm not sure there was a story arc or and ending to this, it was simply a slice of life story.
Slice of an alien life, but whatever. :-)

Re: B-sides problem and a suggestion

I'm sorry you had difficulties! If you subscribe in iTunes, and then sync your iTunes podcasts to your iphone, it will add the feed. The other option is to use a podcatcher like Downcast. It handles password protected feeds natively. Put this link (itpc://www.drabblecast.org/feed/b-sides/) into eith...

Wow. Just... wow. This story was hilarious. Great format. Excellent execution. Production was brilliant. The perfect execution of this story. integration of the DC community was amazing. Loved it. Going to be a favorite of mine for a long time. The end took a dark turn, but it worked. Could have bee...

Re: DC Merch?

Yes, kickstarter usually takes 6-10%, rather than leaving 6-10%. :-) I'm all for a kickstarter campaign. This aligns with stuff Norm was thinking of. So I'd love ideas about merch people would actually like as premiums. So let's start filling in premiums. Here's a sampler: Date with Norm Worm Within...

Re: DC Merch?

I've looked into these sites. The thing that always surprises me, is how little makes it to Norm. Zazzle expects around 7% of the price to make it to Norm. They charge $14.95 for a base white T shirt, no printing. I can get a custom printed t-shirt around here for $10. So they really gouge you for t...

Re: Drabblecast 337 - The Only Game in Town

Desmond, excellent follow-up! You really help bring a face to the story, which is always a plus. I think Norm's southern upbringing brought out the Southern Gothic comment. :-) I think your use of Lovecraft characters and situations, rather than prose style, is one of the reasons this story is so su...
