A lap lycan would probably be more interesting.
That would make you more of a dog person, however. Plus, we'd bet getting back into the need for Kevlar underwear.

We were not meant to question Norm's ways. The best we can do is to search for guidance in understanding his word.
I thought that was what I was doing, searching for guidance that is...

Oh great all powerful Norm! Please enlighten me and the others, so that we too may bask in the glow  and knowledge of the mustache.

Ah, but I am merely the moustache's prophet. Ask the moustache into your heart, so that yours too may look like Burt Reynolds and ye shall understand.

Hey Burt,don't make it bad
Take a sad lip and make it better
Remember to let Burt into your heart
Then you can start to grow it better

Hey Burt don't be afraid
You were made to grow out a better one
The minute you let Burt under your skin
Then you begin to grow it better

And any time you feel the pain, Hey Burt, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who's lip is cool
Stop making your lip a little colder
Na na na na na
na na na na

Hey Burt don't let me down
You have found her now go and get her
Remember to let Burt into your heart
Then you can start to grow it better

So let it out and grow it in
Hey Burt begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you
Hey Burt you'll do
The movement you need is on your upper lip

Na na na na na
na na na na Yeah

Hey Burt don't make it bad
Take a sad lip and make it better
Remember to let Burt under your skin
Then you'll begin to grow it better
Better, better, better, better, better, Yeah,Yeah,Yeah

Too late. After that knife fight pregnancy I really want kevlar underpants.

Huh. I wonder if they sell kevlar on spools? I could knit with it...

Agreed, but do not be downhearted. Moonowl wears her tenticular mustache with pride and challenges Eric and dreamrock for the title of most extraordinary forum facial 'hair' (especially since Tom has inexplicably gone clean shaven).

As other have said this story was a nice change of pace. Keep mixing it up Norm.

Yea, I was growing it back, but then I just got this nasty cold. And let me tell you, a mustache is a terribly hard thing to clean. So it got shaved again.

Aw, but I'm practically a wolfman myself if I don't shave my cheeks. And I could call my forehead male pattern baldness.

Though if we're talking about the best facial hair, I might have a bit more trouble winning.

i have a true Chin muffler. my picture is from last summer when i was looking for work. now i am a student and savoring my beardedness. i loved the story. one of my best friends in school went into police work and had such poor beard and mustache growth that he got it lazered off. 10 years later he has had a small patch grow back (1 side burn) but most is truly gone. myself i can not grow much of a mustache. i was 26 when i tried in earnest and people just though i needed to wash my face more. (4 months of growth) so i never grow it.

God I love Drabblecast.

Great story and Drabble. Agree that the music, voices and story came together for a fun, dynamic little piece that really hit the spot for smiles this week.
