Ran into Mike Resnick at Dragoncon this year and he said he really wasn't a fan of how we produced Malish.

No real surprise. He's a very accomplished writer, and I'm sure he has very set opinions on what he expects his piece to sound like. Going to be real hard to hit that mark.

The rest of us loved it, and that's all that count, right?

The Dribblecast, we don't care if you sound like an idiot.

I didn't really get into this one. Maybe it's because I'm not really into horse racing? I stories with the devil in them, but I like when they're a more unique take on the idea.

I'm usually a huge Mike Resnick fan, so I was disappointed that I couldn't get into this one... Maybe it needed a slower pace? But hey, even Mike Resnick can't write a "Bride-sicle" level story every time, I guess.

Wow, I'm really disappointed in the comments on this, as Malish was a two-thumbs-up for me. Although when I heard that Resnick didn't care for Norm's reading, I realized the guy was trying to pass off responsibility on Uncle Norm for what he himself considered a crummy story. Well, since I put it that way, I don't know what I think.
