Drabblecast 028 - The Hog-Faced Man

Feature: The Hog-Faced Man by Mark Fewell

September 5, 2007
I listened to my father talk about the hog-faced man who came into his hospital room and stood at the foot of his bed.
“What does he say to you?” I asked.
My father turned his head and looked at me.
“He tells me he’s too early...”

I thought this one was really good and chilly until the end. WTF? It could have ended any number of ways and i was just left wondering what happened there. But the concept of a hog-faced man staring at you upon waking was creepy enough i told my wife about it.

Yeah, real spooky imagery. Stays with me, years later. Really looking forward to what Matt will do with the art.

Creepy central image - I liked the end. Not as complex as I'd like, but nice/good.
