While sipping my tea in the morning, I find a small, only two inches long, naked female corpse on the bottom of the cup. Her white skin fades int the white porcelain, tiny gobs of tea leafs cover her round breasts. I immediately slap the cup down, and snick across to the phone to call the police. I forget all about checking if she’s really dead. Of course, how could I give her a mouth to mouth resuscitation, if not? Her body is about the size of a match-stick.

You should all know that I started listening to this while drinking my morning cuppa tea.

There were neither spiders nor babies nor murdered women in the bottom of the cup, thank God.

Tea killer had a great start, I really liked it. However, it ended without finishing. It really needed to be longer.

Spiders was… disjointed. I don't understand the relationship between this guy never having kissed a gurl, and the rest of the story.

Tea Baby was neat. I was able to understand all the metaphors (unusual), except for the baby being the size of the bed. What was that about?

Tom, maybe you can explain Tea Baby to me. I like Bizarro fiction, but I don't always follow the logic of it. Much like when Strawman starts speaking in Latin, I know there's probably something really meaningful and intelligent going on, but at the same time I hope that my pal Google can enlighten me...

A man and a woman make a baby. A baby has some of the traits from each. Instead of standard concepts of eye color and hair, it was abstract geometry and color. It puts a fresh perspective on something we have gotten used to.

If it was deeper than that, I didn't get it.

Thanks, Tom! I didn't even get that far - for some reason, I didn't consider the genetics metaphor. Just "oh, that's weird!" :)
