Congratulations, Norm and all. The Live Story Slam is awesome. Fantastic trilogy, great reading. Add a few bbardles, and you've got Strange Prairie Home Companion. Definitely a winner concept.

Never before have a heard such an awkward explanation of a podcast. Well done!

Great episode! My Hero was lighthearted and silly. The Tunnel, was that a birthing metaphor? And The Something was awesome.
Time to go on tour, buddy.

Yep. I wondered if Norm really needed to try to explain podcasts too. That was the first time I can remember Norm sounding anything less than "large and in charge" on a DC episode. (I think he's trying to lure us into attempting a challenge for hive leadership, by feigning weakness.)
Anyway, great collection of stories, well narrated. I'd love to say that the neighbors must be wondering why I was cackling while weeding my lawn but, who am I kidding, they're probably used to that by now.

Note: he was trying to explain Podcasts to an audience that had never heard of Podcasts.

Easier than explaining Drabblecast to an audience that had never heard of Drabblecast.

Hah, in the unedited footage you would have heard me ask how many people knew what a podcast was/listened to podcasts and about five people in the crowd of about 30-40 raised their hands. There was also some lengthy banter between a drunk clueless guy in the audience who kept raising his hand to ask questions that was pretty funny. I may leave some of that in on the Bsides videopodcast release later this week.
Needless to say, I probably didn't do the best job of explaining podcasts or the Drabblecast on the spot, will have to work on that.
