Margaret Atwood?! That's like howling CHUCK NORRIS in an English teacher's clubhouse (yep, it's a thing... at least in my circle of associates [Science-English Hybrids]).
Whoo hoo! I'm saving this episode to share it with my high school peeps.

Yall do realize fungus really do control the planet right?
...yeahhhhhh, I still like showing that Planet Earth episode with the parasitic fungus that attacks ant colonies to my grade 11 biology students. If I want to really traumatise teenagers, I show it as an example of animal interactions (symbiosis) in my grade 9 ecology unit.
