Adventures of Capt. McClain, pt 3

Post by dreamrock » Tue Dec 29, 2009 5:26 am

(Adventures of Capt. McClain, pt 1, pt 2)

When Capt. McClain turned sixteen, he was turned out of the house on the general principle that he wasn't living there anyway.

If he'd been there for the event, we might know whether Capt. McClain would have understood his father's actions.

Historians believe Mr. McClain was drunk at the time.

Shortly after the Captain was kicked out, the war began. It would be overly simplistic to say the Captain fought on this side or that. Capt. McClain's primary interest was in kicking ass.

And what a fine amount of ass he kicked.

The records were amended to avoid military embarrassment.

Well I've just brushed up on the previous adventures of the Captain, really cool stuff. Seems like a drabble is hardly large enough to encompass such a man, but I guess that's that sign of a good drabble, they always leave you wanting more.

Thanks, Jebi. I try to keep them so they can be enjoyed by themselves or I don't think they really count as drabbles. I'm not sure how far I'm going to take them, but hopefully I'll stop before ever stepping on the "wanting more" toes of any of the other drabbles in the series. :D

1000 pages wouldn't be enough to contain the Captain.

You've been wise to confine it to 100 word snap-shots of his life. Any more, and the awesomeness of him would doubltless cause the readers head to explode.

Thanks for that. My wifes back is out, and I don't think she could manage repainting the walls right about now.
