I thought of you today

Post by Lynchpig » Wed May 05, 2010 3:17 pm

It was a bright and sunny Monday afternoon. Their howls piercing through the crisp, early spring air.

Something in those screams of lust and hunger reminded me of you. Of what you once were. Of the person that had been torn apart by their insatiable drive to feed. Of when your hand slipped from mine and you fell from our perch to where they waited below.

I was so relieved.

You were slowing me down.

That and you just weren't a nice person.

History is written by the winners, so I only hope that by my prayers some may at least have a sense of the self-serving lies that make up your version of that day.

You say my hand slipped from yours? But nothing about the smug smile on your face, or the little queenly wave of your hand, as I fell into those outstretched arms.

All those insincere pick-up lines just one night before... But when you waved, I saw the pale band mark around your ring finger.

When I find you, I will show you real hunger, you filthy Pig.

It was Monday afternoon in the Pits of Oblivion, or so she told us. Soon she will forget how to count days, hours, years. There is no light. There is very little food. There is a trickle of water. As if that weren't enough, now we have another mouth to feed. And she isn't a very nice person.
