The Dirty Drabblers

Post by Domition » Thu Jul 01, 2010 12:33 am

The three drabblers stood motionless against the cloudless, desert sky. Faces of stone capped with sinister beanies looked down upon the terrified village. Craig Shadows, a general store owner who had cut down the very trees that stood here before he arrived to build his pioneering store and home stepped forward. “Who can match your verbal truncation?”, he shouted with reckless abandon, “No one here cares how much you can say in 100 words”, he screamed reluctantly, “Just fuck off and go home.” A propeller swung lazily in the silent breeze. They buried Craig in a solemn, sandy grave the next day.
All the answers lay in her cold, dead fist. No one thought to look there before the burial.

Tuco, Blondie and Angel Eyes twirled their pens and pocketed them, tendrils of smoke suspended in the still summer air.
